A program recently contacted me to tell me my school uploaded the wrong student's transcript in my file. My school has now fixed it, and most programs have downloaded the new one on ERAS. Is it necessary contact programs to let them know in case they have already printed my application, or is it early enough in the application cycle where this isn't an issue?

Man, what BS. These kinda things happen, but that sucks. ERAS should really let applicants view their transcripts to ensure that this gets caught. But, yes, I would email the programs that haven't' downloaded the new transcript yet--some programs just print stuff off, I think, and might not notice the discrepancy.

I'd email all of the programs that you've applied to just to be safe, and be sure to thank the coordinator who caught the error and notified you.
