Hey does anyone know a good cheap hotel that is close to lewisberg?

Or is anyone willing to rent out a room in thier house/apartment for the 20th of October who goes to WVSOM?

I stayed at the Hampton Inn...I think it was ~90/night. I cashed in American Express reward points, though, and stayed for free 🙂

Motel 8 right on the main road. I've stayed there 3 times (once for interview, once to look for apts, and once the day I moved in). I think it was around $60 and has free wireless internet and free breakfast. Not too shabby overall

I stayed at the General Lewis Inn. It's within a couple hundred yards of the school, and it's so pretty and historic. All of the rooms are different, too, and they encourage you to wander around the hotel and check them all out if no one's in them. There's a discount for people interviewing at WVSOM - I think it ended up being $80. Pricier than some, but I think it was a great way to get a feel for the local flavor. Plus if you have the afternoon interview slots, I would highly suggest waking up early, eating breakfast in the restaurant at the hotel, and taking a walk down the main street to see the little shops. All of this is very close to the school too.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express... It was recommended to me by the admissions sec. I really enjoyed my stay while there and the service was excellent.

I have an interview there on 10/28. What does everyone like and dislike about the school, surrounding area, etc? Anyone else interviewing that day?

Hey Guys,

When I interviewed last year, I stayed at the Brier Inn. Mention you're in for an interview at WVSOM, and you'll get a discount!

Good luck.

HAMPTON INN!!!!! They do charge $90 a night, however they have a free shuttle and if you can talk to the manager they will pick you up from the airport and take you to the hotel, take you to your interview, and then tak you to the airport.

There are no taxi's in Lewisburg and the next best thing is to either rent a car, or to hire a limo ($55 one way for a 5 mile ride)

+1. Also, I had an afternoon interview and did all of the above mentioned. good stuff. plus afternoon interviewees dont have to be there until 10:15 and checkout at the hotel isnt until 11, so you can leave all you junk at the hotel and wander around
