just got a letter today dated june 1

said that i am still on the alternate/waitlist.

i dont get why they send these out when they dont rank their list. Besides letting me know that im not rejected (thank god) it does not update anything really.

anyone else know whats going on at west virginia

Called Beth Ann and my letter was sent on June 1st to the wrong address. Now that the address has been corrected, I will be receiving a letter that states I am still on the waitlist. Still holding out hope...

She said there hasn't been a whole lot of movement this year, only a few spots a week I think is what she said.

I don't really have any ties to WV. I have no family or anything there, but I'm from Pittsburgh so I'm not that far away. I also told them my best friend is a WVU alum. Maybe that helped?

Just a heads up to y'all, I got acceptances at OHSU and Georgetown too so I will be declining my admission to WVU. Hope one of you all is the next to come up!

Actually, I think Beth Ann's message says she'll be back July 2nd (which is also a monday). I dont think we'll get news until sometime next week/week after.....

So I guess a bit more waiting? Who knows...

I thought they had a cut off of 3.5/30 for OOSers. I'm sure about the 30 anyway; they also require at least a 9 in each section of the MCAT.

come on, man
I have 28 on mcat (12/6/10) and I got an interview. I'm OOS too. They wouldn't call me if they had that cut-off. 😴
