WVU acceptance/waitlist

is WVU supposed to be mailing out update letters this week?
i thought they were gonna do that last week but haven't gotten anything so maybe not.

hey guys, even tho i was WLed at wvu, just wanted to let you all know that I withdrew from wvu today...

I thought they kept everyone on the waitlist who haven't been accepted to another school up until the start of class...that's rough.
just got a letter today dated june 1
said that i am still on the alternate/waitlist.
i dont get why they send these out when they dont rank their list. Besides letting me know that im not rejected (thank god) it does not update anything really.

Called Beth Ann and my letter was sent on June 1st to the wrong address. Now that the address has been corrected, I will be receiving a letter that states I am still on the waitlist. Still holding out hope...
She said there hasn't been a whole lot of movement this year, only a few spots a week I think is what she said.

I don't really have any ties to WV. I have no family or anything there, but I'm from Pittsburgh so I'm not that far away. I also told them my best friend is a WVU alum. Maybe that helped?

Just a heads up to y'all, I got acceptances at OHSU and Georgetown too so I will be declining my admission to WVU. Hope one of you all is the next to come up!

No news here. Anyone know when/how often they meet to decide who they admit off the waitlist?
Beth Ann was on vacation for the last few days. She just got back today, so hopefully you guys will get good news soon!
Actually, I think Beth Ann's message says she'll be back July 2nd (which is also a monday). I dont think we'll get news until sometime next week/week after.....
So I guess a bit more waiting? Who knows...
She must have left again because I talked to her the day I posted (June 18).
