Because I just kind of assume items will silence and not kill? The description just said it would whack somebody in the head good. I've been whacked in the head many times IRL and am not dead yet. :

Haha okay. And actually, I don't think you killed her, despite the fact that you used the Batarang on her. Read the night results again. Here's the important quote:

I'm assuming the sharp marks came from your Batarang, but the actual cause of death was from something else. So while we don't know what the Batarang does (maybe it really is a silencing item), it doesn't seem to kill - or at least it wasn't responsible for this one.

Do you have any ideas who? Or possibly any other information about the wolf in the lounge?

As I was catching up on the thread, I was going to note the same thing kanderson did. I don't think Nyanko killed WS. But I guess my Batman knowledge is not as good as I thought. I can't really think of a villain off the top of my head that would allow them to tear someone to pieces.

Also, I am not necessarily convinced there are two wolf groups. There are a lot of other explanations - maybe the wolves get two kills or every so many nights. I know a game I played in the past gave us the option to have an extra kill or conversion every 4 nights or something crazy like that.

I knew DVMDream was catwoman. I mean, it was kinda obvious since she could only post cat pictures. Anyways, I had her whip last night. I tried to pass it to her but it didn't work (I guess because she died). Based on DVMDreams often confusing cat pictures, I'm pretty sure catwoman was neutral. That's why I asked what people thought on the thread. I wasn't sure if I should give her whip to her or not. Anyways, she posted a couple of neutral/swiss cat pictures so I'm pretty sure was neutral.

Ok, going to take the pup to the park and crash in the sun for a bit. Maybe some VitD will make me feel better. I will be back before the lynch. As far as first lynches go, if we believe swing, then it narrows down our wolf search dramatically. Hopefully people from the IL can come forward with more info. Will hold off on my vote till we hear more.

My first thought on WS's death was Killer Croc. The other kill was pretty obviously the Joker (duh, he basically signed it) so maybe the Joker gets an extra kill every x nights or something? I basically know 0 wolf mechanics since I've only ever played villager.

Yes, and if you notice in the write up, it said the whip disappeared. DVMDream was PMing me a lot trying to convince me to give her the whip. She also PMd our group. Only cats.

Just had time to catch up this morning, and all I can say is HOLY CRAP! I think I killed WS. 🙁 I had a vial of Venom and chose to use it. Thought I was using it on myself to see what happens, but when the mods asked for a target, I picked wolfspeaker to try it out on. She was the most suspicious to me at that point (like usual 😛). I had absolutely no clue that it would be that dangerous, because I was willing to try it out on myself.

Sorry WS if it was me. But that makes more sense than the batarang kiling her unless it was the combination of both that and the venom. So I really don't think that there are 2 different groups of wolves at this point. But vial of venom = serious bad.


And I'm guessing that the Riddler has made SOV speak only in sentences.

In case I lose power again, a transformer exploded at the town's power plant. I have been without power for an hour or two. It just came back on but I think it is only temporary while they attempt to fix the transformer. No power=no internet for me so I may or may not be around much today.

Ok, a few things I have noticed. I think SOV has an item that is making him speak in negatives. Earlier he said something about being neither hungover or bored, but it was not a question. But he mentioned there being a "LOT" of items, so I am assuming an item did this.

As for lynching swing, I don't think that is right. If she was a wolf, why would she say there is a wolf in her group? No wolf would do that so early in the game, it would draw too much suspicion. Just my two cents.

I have to Skype the hubby, so I am not going to be back before the deadline. Seems to me that swings info might have been correct, since from what those in her group said, DVMD told some (all?) that she was catwoman. SO, with that info, I am inclined to think nyanko is not a wolf based on the strong push to be mayor. That leaves Philli and Lissa. I am flipping a coin.

Really? There was exactly one vote when I cast mine, so unless no one else votes (highly unlikely) or more people 'pile on the lynch', she's not in immediate danger of getting lynched.
