my question for you is... I know you said that you were semi-suspicious of zany because she was not talking a ton, but why attack her with that? it seems a bit extreme really.....

also you are not talking as much as you normally do.... normally you talk my goddamn ear off in WW games......

In all honesty, I'm going balls-ass-crazy about politics and world events. I'm so deep into following blogs, arguing in the SPF, and following the comments sections of news storie. My brain is almost entirely hijacked and incapable of focus on anything that doesn't relate to the slog to November and the opening firefights of WWIII.

Ok... I'm literally just catching up on everything. Ended up gone all day yesterday. Can't multiquote across pages so starting with this. This is funny because I had the freeze gun and also used it on wolfspeaker assuming it would shut her up. Appears nyanko and I had the same idea.

Do you know how the freeze gun works? Or do you only know that it didn't work for you?

Tonight in the busy crime-ridden city streets of Gotham City, kaydubs, from her jail cell, looks out the unreachable, small glass window to see the bat signal illuminating the dark skyline. A noise was heard from the other side of the bars, and she turns to see a deputy yelling at wolfspeaker and t70s, throwing them onto the cold, hard floor of the jail cells across the room--the bar doors slamming behind them.

Meanwhile, on the other side of town, Nohika and foxhunter hear a whip crack so loud that even the recently freed kaydubs and the new inmates could hear it from the distance. Suddenly, devyn spots a dark figure fleeing in the batmobile with a concerned look on their face. She turns around to ask foxhunter if she had seen it too, but she has disappeared.

I had the batmobile last night.

"Someone was by looking for me" .. according to the mods.

I think the batmobile helped me foil a wolf attack perhaps? Unless someone else was visiting me?



As for the bomb. The writeup said my aim was not good enough and I froze the chair the bomb was on, and I almost had a heart attack as the bomb fell to the floor (or something like that)... .but nothing happened.

Also I think this is the same gun y'all were talking about, a freeze gun with an infinite supply of nitrogen were the exact words....

Oh and I have had a miserable night... as after my time at the large animal facility I got a flat on my motorcycle, and had to wait 3 hours for a tow in the middle of nowhere on a Sunday night. Now I am home with a flat tire and I am tired, and still haven't driven MrsSov back to Princeton as I promised (she specifically came home to take care of the critters during my long day away.... ). Oh , this isn't the rant thread... too bad. 😛

Although there was that "how much wood would a wood chuck chuck if a wood chuck could chuck wood" comment in my PM, and then it said while I ponder that question I have to post in questions in the thread/PMs, it gave no specific information.

Perhaps your message had a little bit more detail,but mods don't always send the same exact messages to everyone, but that hardly makes me wolfish.

Excuse me for going with about the only information I have. I found it odd that you said you had no idea what made you talk in questions when my PM clearly stated what had happened.

Once I was released from jail, I was told that the freeze gun is still in my possession (and had it the entire time I was in jail).

Okay, so here's everything that's going through my head:

Since wolfspeaker and t70s were thrown into jail last night, and kaydubs was freed, I'm a little less suspicious of kaydubs for now. Though it still doesn't explain why we were told she was tied up or why kakurubird saw a caped figure pursuing someone who then went to jail (kaydubs, I'm assuming).

If a wolf attack failed because SOV had the Batmobile, it would explain why there were no deaths. Unless there was a conversion or someone else was attacked but similarly protected themselves. In any case, the quote from the write-up, "devyn spots a dark figure fleeing in the batmobile with a concerned look on their face,” seems to confirm that SOV fled in the batmobile.

t70s, I haven't played with you before so I don't know how you react to things, but this kind of seems like how Nyanko was acting during Day Three. Can you confirm/deny?

Also, in regards to the 2-headed coin, it sounds like an item that would belong to Two Face. We know that catwoman had the whip and it's managed to be passed on without staying with catwoman. The freeze gun also sounds like it would belong to Mr. Freeze. I don't know whether wolves have these roles (Two Face and Mr. Freeze) or if these items are just coincidentally connected with villains from Batman. I wonder if anything special happens when a villain/any character gets a hold of their related item?

Here's my updated list of possible villains/abilities/items/whatever:

Riddler – can force players to only speak in questions
Scarecrow – causes players to showcase irrational fear
Joker – gets an extra kill every nth night?
Killer Croc - related to Wolfspeaker's kill?
Two Face - possibly associated with the 2 headed coin.
Mr. Freeze - possibly associated with the freeze gun.
Poison Ivy - ?
The Penguin - ?
Bane/Ra's al Ghul - ?

Also, the fact that kaydubs still has the freezy gun seems to confirm that there are item multiples. This is just too many times with several different people for it to be coincidence (at least in my mind).

defensive much?? 🙄 why not just say that originally then.... that is where the confusion comes into play... you originally said you had no idea why you had to speak in questions you could have said you were told the wood chuck thing... but now not sure if you were or just copying what cuit has said.... just an observation here

There is a two-sided coin.... it is an item... I had it the first night... thought I said so on thread, but definitely said so in PM... anyhow...

Not sure I want to know what happens if a villian gets their item.... don't think it would be good.... as in the case of the coin.... it would be a win/win situation for two face it seemed.

I asked the mods if I could do anything with the coin and got dead air.... so... not sure I could have passed it on, but it was the first night, so would not have known who to give it to anyhow and I would not have been giving it to two face that is for damn sure....
