Yeah I was handcuffed to my bed last night (kinky, right?) and it prevented me from using an item.

Don't know about the reaction, though. I obviously didn't have to do that.
Also, I had a pile of blank ballots the other night. Not sure if they were important or not, so I didn't want to mention them yet. Anyway, I lost them.
 
Hmm, then they must not be responsible for kaydubs then. Maybe we really do have a manly batwoman hero out there catching baddies for us 😍

As a side note, Wolfspeaker has been PMing our group. She let us know that her posting abilities are pretty limited in some way and that's why she's not talking on the thread. She asked me to tell you all, so this is just FYI! 🙂
 
Alrighty, I don't know a damn thing, but I'm an engineer, and I learn by causing destruction, shaking things up, and seeing how pieces fit. I was getting a sketch-o-sense from zanydogz' overly, "Gee, yay villagers, boo werewolves, nithing to contribute, kthnxbai!" approach. So I took some super magic venom and attacked his (her?) ass last night, but he couldn't be killed.

I think this venom is what Phalliab used to kill whomever it was got killed on night one, and I find his lack of fragility disturbing.

LYNCH ZANYDOGZ.

And goodnight. Everyone start throwing some wild accusations, because they teach us a lot.

P.S. I'm innocent, so don't lynch me.

What night did you have them? Could this item have to do with our initial mayor vote?
 
so it seems there are 2 options for lynch at this point.....

kaydubs because she was tied to a pole and the assumption is that might mean she was tied there as she was a bad guy.... I can follow that logic, but at the same point it almost seems a little too easy really....and seeing as she cannot defend herself I am a bit hesitant to lynch her just yet....perhaps it is a diversion or a setup.... I dunno

then zany because nutmeg says he attacked her last night and she was unharmed....now either she is some powerful character who cannot killed that easily or she had an item that protected her perhaps....either way I would like to hear her defense as well before lynching her and I assume she is not silenced so we should get to hear it before deadline.....it is possible a good character could be harder to kill as well perhaps.....just thinking....

This is REALLY interesting to me. I have had the batcuffs night 1 and 2. I used RNGs each night to decide who to cuff. The mods did not exactly say what they did, but I assumed from the PM that they were a blocking type item.

The odd thing here is that I ONLY told the people in my group that I had them. I never told them who I was using them on. So unless there are TWO batcuffs, someone in my group is talking to other players outside the group. I am going to assume that if someone told krist and she told you, you would have had no problem saying it was her. There may possibly be linked players in this game, but the fact something I only told my group and no one ever mentioned in the thread is being brought up by someone I didn't use the cuffs on is suspicious. :eyebrow: Not lynch worthy suspicious, but something I thought should be brought to light.

I thought WS (philli's target) was ripped to pieces - didn't we decide that the venom didn't do that? Just mentioning it. I don't know much about Zany otherwise. Been pretty quiet in group PMs, at least with me. Not sure if she (she right?) is reaching out to others in the group. But with the issue brought to light above, I am slightly suspicious of all my group members right now

Eh, she could have had an item or role that let her know what an item was. And I personally am not a fan of blocking random people because you could be blocking investigations. I tried to use the whip last night to figure out what it does but you blocked me so that is one less thing for us villagers to know.

If I have an item, I will use it. That is why they are in the game. I had very few suspicions so far, so I used an RNG. Yeah it can backfire - it has backfired on me in the past: blocked a person who was actually investigating me and then they thought I was a wolf. So I can see the down side. But it also has it's upside: blocking you when you were a wolf and couldn't kill anyone 😉

As for a role that investigates items, that is a possibility I didn't think of, so if that is the case I understand. But right now we have pretty much nothing to go on, so I am grasping at any straw I can find.

Yeah...kaydubs was mentioned in the write-up in the same place as SnS's 'drunk tank' visit, which we know is a sort of silencing, and it's generally not good to lynch silenced players.

On the other hand, I don't think we have any better info and a hint is better than RNG, right?

So, don't know how any of this is related, but last night I saw a caped figure (batman?) pursuing someone who was then caught up by the police and taken to jail. No other specifics on who it might be, so am really not sure what to make of it in connection to these results, but just thought I'd put it out there.

How likely do we think multiple identical items are in this game? Very likely or highly unlikely?

Weren't we just asking a similar question about the badge or whatever the investigative item is?
Don't think we've ever had a game with more than one of the same object, but it's come up twice now, and I could see how mods would enjoy the confusion it would create!

Yes and it is getting a bit confusing.... is there more than one of some items.... I dunno... it would seem overkill, but then could the mods be doing it to feck with our brains.... I guess it is possible.....


also.... so it seems that Krist as mayor has very limited capabilities of posting in thread... but we are allowed to PM her right?

and also now WS comes back and has limited posting in thread ablities... did she come back as a different role? 😕

I am definitely suspecting that WS got rezzed with a new role. Don't really see why someone would use a rez ability on a citizen with no useful role.

Yeah that made no sense at all.... why not bring back someone with a big role (no offense WS)... so it would make sense if she was to get a different role.... question is - which side is she playing for now?

Here is a really easy way to find out, at least for the batcuffs. Did anyone else have them on night 1 & 2 or know someone who did.

For a possible revival item, the Lazarus Pits would make sense. That's how Ra's Al Ghul is functionally immortal in the mythos. It seems to me that an unlimited revival item would be pretty unbalanced, but there is sort of precedent in the Avengers game.
 
Ok, had to go back and find it (on page 5 if anyone's interested) but this is still bothering me.

Someone told krist they cleared her with a badge N1 - could be anyone, we can all PM her. But, Cuit had the badge that night and did NOT use it on krist. There is no reason why, if there are two badges the person that cleared krist can't come forward. If so, everything I write below this is a moot point.

IF there is only ONE badge though, then there is something going on here. Someone is lying. I doubt it's Cuit, because she wouldn't say she had it then. So it is the person feeding krist info or krist. The only thing, is that krist specifically called it a badge. I assume, because no one jumped on that, that the item is called a GCPD badge. So who ever told krist they investigated her, or krist herself must have known about the existence of the badge.

I realize this doesn't really help getting a lynchee right now, but I wanted to bring it up again, especially if krist can only post once a day. I hope she sees this!!

The LMD in Avengers was a one time use item. It didn't revive the person, it was a decoy. If attacked, the wolves would attack the decoy thinking they got the real player. LIS is actually the one who came up with the idea for it.

We only know that Krist told us someone cleared her. She could be making the whole thing up.

Another possibility: could be someone with an investigative role. If that player or krist knows about the badge, they might claim it was the item rather than a role. I don't know how likely that is, especially since the person we can all PM is the best role-protector to be a source for, but I'm just throwing it out there.

Oh, that makes more sense. I didn't actually play that game, so I wasn't following as closely. I definitely think the Lazarus Pit could make sense as a one use item.

I agree, that's why I said I think either krist or the person giving krist the info is lying.

This is true too. Could be why that person hasn't come forward...but if the person was a seer, and then investigated krist, found her to be good, then the seer would obviously trust krist. So why not just ask krist to say someone with investigative powers found me innocent? Saying you used an item just sounds wolfy. IMO.
