Spend 11+ hours a day unable to check in for more than 5 minutes at a time, with what is essentially a vanilla role, and tell me how you feel, k? My point was you were talking as if you're doing so much better this game than the rest of us. Same point I made to dolphin. If you want to call everyone stupid then you'd better have something to show for it, otherwise it just feels mean lol

Oh, Miz, Yeah keeps saying we should know her role, but disregarding that because I don't know her role, leaning slight wolf there for reasons that I no longer remember.

Don't feel bad, I don't what mizs role is either. I wasn't the most attentive early game cause I wasn't really playing

I'm sorry if you're feeling sensitive, but it's incredibly frustrating to have people not listen to a single thing you are saying and instead keep accusing you of things that are un-true, and it wears down after a while.

It goes back to what I was saying this morning -- you and a few others are full on admitting you are just lynching me (and dolphin & paws) because you can't be bothered to think of anything better and haven't caught up, so yeah, I am going to call that out when it happens because it's lame. And it's basically impossible to defend against snarky "dunno, it's about that time" reasoning in any meaningful way.

When it happens from people who are also flouting the rules and laughing about it, then that is even more disappointing, and that definitely colored a lot of my comments earlier today. I'm not apologizing for that, so if it bothers you then so be it.
 
If people decide to lynch me tomorrow, know that Stagg was right about one thing: I won't die.

I didn't lie to anyone about the lynch mechanics today, see no reason to do it tomorrow either, but since I have the day from hell tomorrow at school & I have a feeling it's going to go that way regardless of what I say or do, consider yourselves informed.

If you need more information, please reference the 8 billion defense posts I made today.

Oh I don't care that much. Like, it is mean (moreso to the people who are able to put more time in than I have been) and I think unjustified unless you're out there lynching wolves left and right, but I don't feel personally attacked, I just don't care for that kind of attitude :shrug:

Yeah, I'm not caught up. That doesn't mean I'm not putting any effort in, if I wasn't I would have gone to sleep three hours ago. I don't think there were better lynches that I could come up with at the time - I'm not going to go flipping my reads list upside down based on the words of outted wolves. I believe I voted for you originally with a throwaway comment but you know I do that quite often just to see how people react. And I do think I said later that I don't believe in alpha villagers, and I don't. Timeline is fuzzy so I don't remember if you had claimed chaos or not at that point. I still don't quite see a reason to believe you. It may make sense to you but I am not privy to your information, I only have what is in front of me, which at this point is the writeups and what I was able to skim from the thread today, and none of that at this point says "Ah yes, there is no way pip is a wolf anymore, she is clearly chaos and I am dumb for thinking otherwise!" So I don't think a vote for you is unjustified at this point.

I don't know what rule breaking you are referring to since I probably missed it, so no, not asking you to apologize for being frustrated by that.

I'd rather this not be a thing again tbh

It creates a culture when I'm nightkilled N1/N2 for calling out wolves D1 or being a counterwagon every day on from D2 onwards (even if I'm still lynching correctly) because I'm too defensive/oblivious.

This seems to repeat every year near the start of every summer until August and it makes me frustrated and drained.

I can understand frustration. What I can't understand is taking it out on everyone else. Saying you're sorry if you're feeling sensitive is not even close to an apology so don't act like it is.
 
And let it be known I did not plan to and was not supposed to still be playing a game of this complexity by the time clinics started since I knew the rotation I'm on right now would not be great for it, so I reserve the right to whine a little about that lol

I'm not mad or projecting anything onto you. I'm saying it's weird (I'll say that instead of mean) to throw shade on people's lynch decisions when you were lynching a villager today and the lynch you're throwing shade at was not a net negative result for the village from where I'm sitting. If the conclusion based on more involved play was that the better lynch decision today was stagg, and that I'm a good lynch tomorrow, then either you're not wolf hunting or I feel fine continuing to skim. Maybe both.

I'm fairly uncomfortable with being put on a pedestal as well though... I just prefer mingling with the different play styles on thread and being killed for what I've done rather than what I could do. I realize this is a me rather than the general public problem, and something I need to figure out how to correct myself, but I'm not sure how to do it yet.

Actually, I'll say this one thing: my lynch decision today had almost nothing to do with affiliation and almost everything to do with the fact that I thought he ought to have been modkilled at least twice, as I stated when I placed it.

Also, earlier today my affiliation was still chaos, so I'm not sure why I am justifying my lynch votes at all up to this point, tbph.

I'm not apologizing for taking a day to vote for a cheater who was acting like a sore loser instead of voting for a team mate who was definitely going down.

But regardless, I am still not lying about this being another waste so I'm glad that sunk in with the way those two flipped earlier lol

I've had a wolfy list all game long, just because I don't post it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. No one asked me for my reads before today, and they should be evident from my votes and posts anyway.

That's the kind of thing I'd leave to the mods, and if I'm reading correctly they already corrected for it as they saw fit, but, your prerogative. Feel free to prove you are interested in finding wolves going forward.

Again, I'm not mad about how they flipped, and don't see why I should be. Don't know what their win condition was, don't see evidence that they were using their ability in a way that benefitted my team, not mad to see them go when there was no other way to confirm that they weren't wolves. Almost every time I want to lynch someone it has been called a "waste" so at this point I just don't care anymore. Capri, stagg, dolphin, now you. Whatever. Everything dies eventually.

Act 3, Scene 7: An Escape from Bedlam
(Sorry for the lame writeup this morning, looking at the computer screen and typing was making me feel like vomiting)

The night began as most nights end with two deaths. Both occurred outside of the story on Firma, hence why they are simply brought up briefly here.

The report from the first death was an explosion occurring following the sighting of a green skull ship in the air. It left Empta without anyway to survive.

Dead is Cubsrule, Empta, Villager, who could watch either who a person interacted with each night OR what actions they took that night.

A second report came regarding our favorite, Faatle turned Vessel, who was once again found to have a knife stabbed through the chest, as last time, but had a darkness around them, with the note this time reading, “Let’s see them revive you this time.”

Dead is Dubz, Kinaristl, Villager, who had all of the same actions as before.

Back in Bedlam, Kailvan was leading the group through various winding paths.

“To the indestructible, the green skulled shipped ship! We can use it to get out of Bedlam, and then develop a plan for a counterattack back on The Vale.”

Sheath looked a bit skeptical at Kailvan. “How do you know where this ship is located?”

“It’s just one of those things I know, let’s hurry!”

They continued around further bends, and eventually arrived underneath the massive ship. “Everyone stand underneath it, we will be beamed up inside of it.

Everyone uneasily went under the ship that had destroyed likely millions, and were instantly beamed upwards into the ship. Kailvan immediately went to the control center for the ship, and they were off the ground in seconds.

Sheath thought to herself about how he could know how to operate this ship. But then again, he could read a language he had never interacted with before too.

They were off to the purple portal in the sky within minutes, and safely back in The Vale.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE: AFTER WE HIT 7 PLAYERS, all players will be transported to the final world within this game. Everything is topsy turvy in this location and the following changes take place:

  • Everyone’s abilities completely disappear
  • No more affiliation changes under any circumstances
  • All death avoidances/lynch avoidances/night kill avoidances disappear
  • Items will all be at the point of disappearing (will disappear following any actions with them the next night)
  • 1 person will die at night, and 1 person will die during the day (if a tie were to occur, RNG will choose a random person to break the tie, based on who that person voted for will break the tie accordingly. If they were not on either of the people involved in the tie, RNG will choose a new person to act as tiebreaker).
  • EVERYONE will be permitted to PM with anyone of their choosing within the group of 7, so long as you add the mod to the conversation.
(Essentially, it turns into a vanilla game of WW. No more mechanics, etc. If anyone has any questions on this transition, feel free to ask it on the thread)

It is day, there are 9 players remaining in the game, 9 players are eligible to vote and 9 players are able to be voted. Day deadline is set for 10 PM EST.
