Yale Interview or Rejection Timeline?

I was wondering how long it took the people who applied to Yale to receive a rejection or an interview invite after the date their file went into review. mine went in on september 15th and I haven't heard a thing back.
Does this mean that the little thin "go away" envelope is coming? Just curious....... THANKS! 😕

Good question. I went into review around mid August, and still not a peep! (YIKES!)

Mine went into review in early September and I just got an interview invite. I wouldn't worry just yet, especially since (1) they're non-rolling and (2) they are probably bogged down by the glut of August MCATers' applications.

Drinklord, what was your MCAT/GPA? out of curiosity. I know they have high stats, but it would be interesting to know who they're throwing lines too. Good luck with the interview 🙂

i went under review 8/10 at yale and got an interview invite on 9/19. you can see my mdapplicants profile to see what my app is like...i'm also a yale alum, but don't know if that hurts, helps, or is irrelevant to success. also, i haven't heard of anyone getting rejected from yale yet. good luck!

I also got invited for an interview.... and I'm not a Yale alum. Just from a good ol' state school. And I was complete for at least 2 months before I heard anything.

they don't send out rejections or acceptances until march 15th or something like that since they're non-rolling. So you shouldn't be getting that thin envelope any time soon!
