I was looking back at the Official Yale Countdown thread - were some of you already accepted off the waitlist? I called today and was told the tiers won't be available until friday. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" />
Botticelli- I wouldn't worry about getting in. I met several people who are not going to attend this year due to several reasons. If you really want to attend, I would write them a letter explaining that this is the place for you and also state what you have to offer to Yale.

I got a call from Mr. Silverman today too, so the waitlist is definitely moving. I did not write a letter of intent, but I did send an update letter (with recent activitied/honors )with my acceptance of a waitlist position. My waitlist letter did not say that I was on the high priority list. Anyway, just thought I'd share the news.
