With the plethora of these silly threads popping up, here is a generalized chance thread that tells you your chances of landing an interview. We have no idea how you interview: if you're overbearing, socially awkward, etc. Numbers only tell you your chances of getting an interview, assuming everything else is fine. So, unless you're showing us your entire application, no one can play Admissions Committee...your thread is essentially useless. We have no idea what they're looking for in a candidate outside of numbers. We've seen SDN's absolute worst get in, we've seen SDN's best get rejected, so these "chance me threads" are no more than a waste of everyone's time.
If you're just going to post generalized numbers then here's a GREAT generalized guide to your chances. With that said, here you go. Now stop posting these things in the main forum, please.
GPA
1) 3.5-4.0: Good chances. Congratulations, you don't have to take post-bacc classes.
2) 3.2-3.4: Medium chances. You're average.
3) 3.0-3.19: Iffy chances solely based on GPA. Start aiming for minimum 20s across the board on your DAT
4) >2.99: Consider a master's or a post-bacc program.
DAT
1) Minimum 20s across the board + scores above 22: Great chances, and you're annoying everyone.
2) Minimum 20s + one score 17-19: You're fine.
3) Minimum 20s + one score 16 or below (in a section other than QR): Re-take it.
4) 19s across the board: Chances are fine.
5) Mixes of 18s and 19s: Eh, you could do better.
LORs
1) "I wrote my own LORs and my professor signed off on it" - great chances, and you win the unethical award of the year
2) "Great LORs" - don't bank on it. You didn't read it.
Extra Curriculars:
1) Did you build an orphanage in Africa? Might be able to compensate for a sub 3.0.
2) Do you have your own charity, NGO, or NPO? Might make up for a 17 PAT
3) 1500hrs of community service: great, apply to ASDOH.
TA DA! There you go.
