I saved up my rejection letters and I am trying to figure out what to do with them. Anyone did something creative with them? I'm just curious what other people did other than tearing it up and cuss at the school. Amazing how 1 acceptance numb all my pain for the rejections that came after 🙂

I might just burn them with a ritual to curse those schools that rejected me.....jk

Mail it back to them... with a note "IM REJECTING YOU BACK B******"

I tied mine all into a bundle, with my Kaplan DAT book on top, and got out my shotgun with 4" buck shot... It made me feel pretty dman good!

and got out my shotgun with 4" buck shot

what? what firearm do you have that chambers a 4 inch cartridge?

or did you mean #4 shot?

He meant #4 buck.... lmao a 4" is like a 4-gauge (about $100,000 rifle) with a 200-lbs recoil that will make a grown man cry (literally)

Yes my apologies.. #4 buck shot... Last day of work and my mind and fingers are thinking two different things!

I don't know about make you cry but you would probably have a bruise! It's kind of hard to imagine what the jump from a 3 1/2" would be, cause those are quite a step up form a 3".

Anyway... Yes shoot em' up.. that's how I bring some justice for rejection!

I've always had the urge to mail them back. My number 1 school accepted me, so I just look forward to the rejection letters. Hell, I paid about $150 per rejection letter haha I actually get slightly angered when I just get an email, no physical letter

I might wrap them around some M80's I have laying around and just make some confetti out of them.

I keep some of my rejections in my mail and read thru them sometimes. esp when im feeling low. It reminds me of how these guys didnt believe in me, and yet i made it work!!
So all I have to do is keep trying.

dorky - i know😀😀😀

Im sure Im keeping them for the rest of my life.

lol, reading them while feeling low? quite dangerous to ur self esteem IMO. But i shall try that sometime.

Also, SDN members seem so violent with their shotgun and gauge stuff. Maybe i should pack some heat before DS🙄

Reading the one I got from UPenn makes me feel better. No Joke. Those guys have CLASS.

I noticed that too. a trait I invariably associate with oral surgeons.
cut cut cut...eeee haaaaa...

Or you know what else you can do...

Find a random dental student from each school that rejected you... and beat the crap out of them.... Throw the rejection letter at them and be like "GIVE THIS BACK TO [insert school's name]"

This will teach them to never reject another "serious" applicant.

i taped them all up on my my wall, all eight of them. They take quite bit of space. I have 4 more that rejected me via email so i gotta print them out and put them up too. Everytime i don't want to study, i look at them and it motivates the hell out of me.

Dang, that's a good idea. Should have done that. But it seems like most of the people posting are the ones that got in to a school already and wondering what they should do with their letters.

Well, it stings pretty hard to look at them if you didn't get in. I don't think you would have any creativity to do anything with them in the time of depression.😕
