I hear ya! Second time around feels even more stressful and when someone asks me about it it make me more nervous...

A word to my fellow applicants - never never give up on your dreams!! This is my second time applying and experience makes a difference. Hold your head high and remember to follow your goals. Anything is achievable if you set your mind to it and I'm a prime example that you don't have to have the perfect score on everything to get excepted into a great program :)

So who is going to UW Seattle with me???

Second time around applying this year. Similar to the previous replier I had a couple comments about some very thoughtful recommendations. From applying a second year, I have come up with a few schools that aren't so grade- conscious. Future applicants PM me if you ever want to pick my brain. This year I applied to some competitive programs thinking my GPR would help, but somethings can't always make up for good grades.

Congrats on matching! I totally agree with what you said - you don't have to be the "perfect" applicant based on numbers (I had the same part 1 as you did) but what matters is the quality of your letters and your interviews. At the end of the say programs want someone who will get along with the faculty and current residents and who is well rounded with a great personality
