here is a job posting on gaswork that wants independent crnas. Those that work in a team environment. I am guessing that they are looking for crnas to do their own cases without input from Physicians until something horrid happens in which case the physicians have to intervene. This is the worst possible job you can have. IN my opinion, if I am not involved preop and design the plan I don't wanna be involved when YOUR plan fails. All the physicians in this group should resign immediately. And the pay is ridiculously HIGH in my opinion for a 2 year post grad nurse

Kadlec Medical Center continues to expand and is now transitioning to a team anesthesia model. 4 positions are now available.
Full Description
Looking for an independent CRNA role in a team environment with MDAs? Then Kadlec Regional in Richland, WA is the job for you. Even an opportunity for new grads that want to strengthen their regional in an autonomous role with the comfort of an experienced staff as backup support. We are seeking 3-4 positive, diligent CRNAs to join our team full-time, and we are moving toward hiring even more CRNAs in the future. At present we have 19 MDAs and 4 OB CRNAs.

Kadlec is a Level 3 trauma center moving toward a Level 2 trauma center. Cases include a wide variety of general cases, vascular, ortho, cervical and lumbar, robotics (colorectal, urology, and GYN), occasional healthy pediatrics, endoscopy, podiatry, ENT, and the potential for trauma experience. Practice skills to include spinals and regional blocks.
Kadlec Regional has amazing OR's with state of the art equipment.
The sunny tri-cities community (voted one of the safest communities in America) boasts an average of 308 days of sunshine annually. It is a breathtaking 3-hour drive from Seattle or Portland and is located in the heart of wine country on the Columbia River. The community airport in Pasco has non-stop flights to numerous cities including Denver, Salt Lake, Minneapolis, and Seattle.
1099 Compensation Package

$180,000 base + call pay (new grad)
$190,000-$200,000 + call pay (2+ yrs experience)
2nd call pay: $300 to carry the beeper
Callback pay after 2300: 125$/hour with a 2 hour guarantee
100$/hour over 40 hours week
Average work-week: 45-50 hours (rolling out schedule/no set shifts)
6 weeks vacation

Call: Will never be 1st call
2nd Call: once every 4th night. Work 3p-2300 (unless needed earlier). Typically work an 8 hr day post call (but will send home earlier as able). 2nd Call only utilized
