I heard from univ of Illinois today. Anyone else?
I heard UAB had some people already interview.
 
MUSC sent an email yesterday saying they would start looking at completed applications starting this Friday.

Yes. I mean University of washington. I was interviewed there. I haven't heard anything yet. just checking if any one heard the results of the interview.
 
Anyone already interviewed at any schools? How was the interview? what should we expect? I know each program is different but what are good questions to ask the residents and faculty? I am not sure if all programs are like this one, where the residents just do their cases independently and they present the cases to everyone in seminars. Do all programs do this? I have heard from a few residents that endo is endo no matter where you go.

I also want to ask what your thoughts are about calling the programs post interview. I had an interview in July and have not heard anything. Do I assume they did not select me, should I call and ask? Thoughts......

I had couple of interviews, I think when you go for an interview they just want to get to know you personally and see if they and their staff in the future would like you and have it easy to work with you.
I don't see any advantage of calling or emailing after the interview ( unless in case that you might want to apply to the same program again next year).

So, I applied to 12 programs... I know a lot.
I heard from: LSU, Lutheran, Baylor, Indiana, Long Beach VA, UCLA, Iowa, Einstein and Chicago.
The ones I haven't heard from are: VCU, Stony Brook, and Georgia.

Anyone get any news from those programs yet?

Congrats! When did you hear from Iowa? Which interviews are you going to?
 
Got a rejection letter from Louisville in the mail :(
gotta say I def would rather not hear from the schools than get a rejection letter lol
 
Anyone hear of any schools filling all their spots yet? I know Nova filled one. Tufts accepted one.
 
Anyone hear from UOP yet? I was told they have been reviewing applications, then was corrected and told that next week they will review applications and send invites.

This seems easier. When is the OHSU interview? Do you know when he interview was sent?
 
How many RCTs have you guys done in school (anteriors/premolars/molars)?
 
So everyone says the bad programs are known. Which are the bad endo programs? Can anyone list them? And why are they bad? Don't they all qualify you to be board certified?

From my knowledge getting into endo residency is a blessing due to increased competition. Getting interview calls is becoming tougher. Most programs are have good didactics/teaching/research track. Some programs with fewer patient numbers is where one might feel the pinch, especially if one pays top dollar in tuition/high living expenses. But certainly there are no bad programs, but please feel free to correct me.
 
Did anyone hear from Harvard and NYU?
 
I would agree with you but I heard that there are known poor programs but no one mentions a name.
