Good Morning! I am a "non-traditional" applicant.

I graduated with a BS in Biochemistry in 2008 and have been working at a Biotech Pharm company since 2009.

In my application guide to Auburn University it states "completion of the application requires the submission of reference forms from two (2) professors and one (1) pharmacist."

Having been out of school for some and not having close relationships with my professors (I went to a very large school) at the time, I think it will be very hard for me to get 2 strong LORs from professors. Is it acceptable to submit LORs from my current employer (PhD's). I have worked very close with my manager and Director the last 5 years and know they would write very strong LORs.

Thanks in advance

I would contact Auburn and explain your situation. You could also take a few classes and try to get to know your professors but then you would probably be a bit late getting your LORs in.
