I've also not had any news for four weeks now. Good news is I haven't gotten mad at my email or mailbox for not having anything good in about a week. Now I just know there's nothing I'm looking for there.

sadly, i couldn't even remember which schools i applied to. i had to think of them by basic geographic region before i got them all. don't forget that some of the schools are non-rolling, so no one's heard from them yet. i know penn doesn't interview until january.

i've stopped checking my email neurotically. i'm rolling up the white flag of surrender, rolling over and playing dead. have been complete since august mcat.

hrm. perhaps my PI misinformed me then. she's penn med faculty and i mentioned i hadn't heard from penn yet. she came back the next day and told me that i'm entirely too neurotic since they don't interview till january. she's not on the adcom though, so maybe she heard wrong.

I was complete late so im holding out hope that the delay is due to that reason but losing hope everyday. I mean, feb just seems late to be sending out many invites; Anyone had a chance to look at last years postings to see if the top schools invite at all?

as for the question about invites, yes schools are still sending them out. harvard and bu are over now, but yale, penn, and columbia are still sending out invites (the first two send invitations until late March). uchicago and emory invite until the last week in Feb, and i just got one from jefferson a few days ago so they're still going as well.

good luck to everyone suspended in a perpetual state in med school paralysis with me!

I emailed the dean @ Yale and he said that they would be extending interview invitations well into Feb. and be interviewing through March. Penn on the other hand.. I called them yesterday and they said they were finished sending out interview invitations. So I emailed the director to confirm, and she responded "we are just about done, yes!"
