Does not changing the solutions make the x-rays darker or lighter? Trying to answer some questions on worksheet. Thanks in advance!

DARKER! The more use the chemistry gets, the lighter and lighter (i.e. less contrast) your developed films will have. back before we went digital, we'd have to change the chemistry on the auto processor about every 10 days to 2 weeks. BTW, it's amazing how the color of the solutions will change with use, from essentially a clear to yellowish translucent all the way down to coffee black.
