I went through last years interview invite thread and found the first dates that interviews were given (not performed) at the schools that I applied to just to give me some indication of what to expect this year. Below is a sampling...

Loyola 8/28
Creighton 9/1
NYMC 8/15
MCW 8/30
Georgetown 8/15
SLU 8/21
Jefferson 8/7
Temple 8/17
BU 9/18
Stanford 9/19
Northwestern 8/24
Yale 9/8
Johns 8/31
Harvard 9/15

This isn't scientific of course but gives me some peace of mind that most of the schools I am applying to havent started inviting yet even though I wish they would.

This isn't counting EDP, right?

Any info on U Wisc?

This thread is a very good idea. Thanks!

Good. Thanks. Please feel free to add if you can find anymore of your own schools. Also I made sure to use only regular admissions candidates and I tried to ensure that the I included the day that the invites were given not when the interview was scheduled. Try to do the same if you add.

I love this thread. Great idea!

Might be interesting from a correlational perspective (and for next year's application cycle, too) if we include the date of first reported interview invite from this year as well. Maybe in brackets or parens after last year's date?

I wish there was a way to make tables in our posts so that we could better organize this. (Or is there a way?)

Well, as far as we've heard, AECOM is behind this year... I don't even know if anyone is complete there, let alone getting an interview invite. But this is comforting... most schools don't seem to start inviting until late August/September.

According to AECOM, they will start marking ppl as complete starting next week and sending out emails, so I'm not sure how long it takes to go from there to the interview step.

If they are roughly on the same schedule as last year, some of these should be coming up this week (hopefully). I find myself looking at this thread every few days with my fingers crossed....:)

I thought Yale was non-rolling? 9/8?

Non-rolling and rolling apply to acceptances, not interviews.

FYI, Baylor is ahead of schedule (in terms of last year at least) -- people have gotten interviews already...

So who's idea was it to abbreviate Johns Hopkins as Johns?

Fortunately I am on a first name basis with Johns Hopkins so I get to call them Johns. Its Mister Hopkins to the rest of you.

I am in California. Every afternoon I get depressed at 2 o'clock if my email inbox is empty because I know that everyone on the east coast is going home from work and not looking at our applications anymore...

At 3pm I hope for some Midwest school to have just gotten out of conference about our files...

When nothing comes in the 3pm hour, I finally settle my hopes on my good old UCs to get me through till 5. I wait a few minutes till after 5 and if there's no email, I check SDN one more time to see if anything else is new.

I obsess about the threads ***Official 2008 Interview Invite...

Now this thread can be my little pacifier while I wait from hour to hour, hoping for an invite.

I am a truly sad specimen for these next couple of months... :scared:

LoL. You time things like I do. That's pretty weird. I'm not really trying to be depressed though. :p UCLA is two weeks behind schedule. I think you should expect later dates this year. :) Relax.

I've been complete at AECOM as of last week...but I'm an MSTP applicant so maybe it's different?

Emory's gotta have one hell of a wildcard up its sleeve to hit anywhere near that date this year.

Anyone know anything about how Northwestern interviews? Few early, lots later? I haven't seen many interviews given out (only 3) but I gotta think there should be more coming soon? Right?
