I am at work using my PDA, so I will call to set a date once I get off

I called the admissions office and asked if I could replace the LAS letter with a letter from my manager at work, but they said they don't do that anymore...Did I ask the wrong people or what? An earlier post said they let him do the replacement...

Invite!! Funny thing I applied EDP to FSU and they told me they won't even send out invite till mid-August.🙄

July 16th

I set my interview date for Sept 3rd...I get back from 10 days in Vegas and LA less than a week before, so, hopefully, I'll be ready...

My file was complete on July 15th....

Just got the invite to interview at Nova. August 20th, which is their first day. My file was complete on July 10th.

If you mean did I receive the invite via email then yes...but I've not received a confirmation email on my interview date yet.

Yeah, I mean the confirmation email with the date.

I want to see what's on the agenda. When do you people suggest getting plane tickets? It is already less than a month before my interview.

Actually, those numbers are pretty good as far as acceptance chances. But I think the number applied is over 2500 now.

All applicants: 76% accepted post interview

In state: 78.8%

Out of state: 74%

Pretty good if you ask me 👍

Did anyone use this evaluation form? I called and emailed the school regarding whether or not this is required and I got two completely different answers.

I found it on SDN, and downloaded it so i have it on my computer. If you search for it on SDN you could probably track it down, otherwise I'll send it to you if you want.

I did not use their evaluation form...the committee packet, which included a DO letter, was sufficient...

I submitted 4 individual letters.

I just got my interview spot today! I am kind of suprised because I don't think that my PPHS comittee has subitted their LORs yet.

Hi, I got my interview invite via email yesterday...just checked my email today. I was surprised too!
I really don't know when my file was complete. I never received any emails saying they had my LORs and secondary..just a file of my secondary that I could not open. Not complaining though! I am grateful to get to this point in my life.

Thought everyone would be interested in this. Found this match list on another post and figured it would be convenient to post it here too. NOVA has absolutely outstanding residency placements. I'm very impressed.

CONGRATS to all who got interviews..... If anyone is thinking of scheduling their's later in the cycle....do not! Timing seems to be everything with Nova. I was complete in July and got an interview invite in October and scheduled for November (had some issues getting the interview invite correctly so stay on top of them!) and now I am starting at Nova in 10ish days!!!

Anyone hear anything about or receive the interview confirmation email yet? When i scheduled my interview the lady told me that they would probably send it out by the end of the day yesterday or today.
I called the admissions office today but kept getting a weird signal, but I think that was just my phone.

They don't respond to emails. I've had several questions and sent 4 emails and never got a response, been 2 weeks now. But the other day I get an email telling me I'm invited to interview??? Oh well, probably get my acceptance email tomorrow without even interviewing.

Yeah I called them today and asked when the confirmation emails would be sent out. They said today they should be sent out but seeing that its almost 9PM in Florida now I doubt that is happening. I want to book my flight soon too since there are deals on Expedia right now -___-"

YEah, I know. It would be nice to get it now so I can plan for fligts, hotel, car rental, etc. Hopefully we'll get it tommorrow.

They referred to me as "David" in the message--my name is not "David."

And they have my interview date set to Sept 17th? What happened to the 3rd?

I just got mine. I think I need to call them, considering they put my interview date in the email as September 20th when it is August 20th. Plus, September 20th is a Sunday. Nice....

I just called up Nova asking about my interview email confirmation. They told me their system is down, and for those who didn't get it yet, you can expect to get it monday.

Hi, everyone.

I got an interview invite via E-mail yesterday. I called and booked the date of August 27th. I was told to expect a confirmation E-mail next week, but I already booked my flight for August 27th( Guess I was too excited about my first interview). Seeing that a couple of interviewees get dates different from they were originally scheduled on, I am starting to get worried. Also, I have not got a confirmation E-mail yet. Should I call them just in case?

The Nova rep is going to get back with me, but she mentioned that their system had me in for an interview on Sept 3rd, but my confirmation has Sept 17th.

I am sorry to hear the confusion that it must have caused you. There seems to be some sort of disconnect between their system and E-mails. Hopefully, they will send you a new confirmation with September 3rd.

My issues got resolved too. They had me down for August 20, even though the confirmation said Sept. 20. Maybe there are bugs this early on in the system. Hopefully there won't be any more issues.

I called yesterday and was told I would get an email confirmation that evening. Nothing. Just checked my email like 10 minutes ago and there is still nothing from NSU-COM. 😕

The lady I spoke with yesterday said the email confirmation would include directions, a parking permit, etc.

The email had a parking permit, confirmation letter, and itinerary. There wasn't any info on hotels. The interview day is from 9AM-230PM, includes the interview, tour of the campus and the med. school. The good news is the Ft.Lauderdale airport is only like 6 miles away from the school.
