Please Quote (then delete quotes) to update this list when you get a secondary you think no one else has gotten yet or update last year's data if it's not on here yet.

You can look at last years school specific threads and also class of 2017 thread.

Take's a long time, this thread would be a cool idea to synthesize all the information into one

👍 I also like this idea....

Hey guys,

Hey guys, I agree. A list needs to be made. It took me about an hour to breeze through the school specific app threads for all schools I was applying to and figure out the prompts and the earliest day secondaries arrived. What I have is below. Just to be clear this list is not the day you WILL get your secondaries if you submitted ASAP. It's the earliest people on SDN get them. As I said before I got this by combing school-spec. threads and tried to at least two people who said they'd received a secondary before I put a date down. Please feel to add or modify this list. There's are quite a few things I am not sure about but hopefully this list helps a lot of you!

Earliest Secondary Prompt Arrival From Last Year (2012):

Boston-7/3
Creighton-7/2
Drexel-7/31
George Wash U- 7/5
Gerogetown-7/6
Indiana-Weird since they interview and do secondaries together-8/2?
Jefferson-7/5
Med. Coll. of Wisc- 6/29
MU of S. Car. - 7/3
MSU- 7/12
Oakland William Beaumont-6/29
Oregon HSU- 7/19

UCincinnati-No essays so I didn't really bother
UColorado-8/1
UIllinois-7/3
UMich- 7/2 (I think UMich might have a similar procedure to UWisc. not sure)
UWisc- Confusing...you apparently get an email giving you the secondary but then get another email almost a month later letting you submit it. Is this correct? If so then the email dates are 7/15 and 8/20 respectively.
Virginia Commonwealth-7/9
Wayne State U. -7/24

Not to sound like a dick, but you could always find them yourself and update the thread. It doesn't take much time to search last year's school-specifics.

Northwestern - 8/26 (not the typical time; they had problems that year)

Can we put an asterik or something next to those schools that don't require AMCAS verification? For instance, I'm not yet verified, but I have received GW & Pritzker's secondary application emails.

Any thoughts or objections?

Also, is it common to receive secondaries from some schools but not from others?

For example, I received secondaries from Dartmouth and Pritzker but not from Cornell and Buffalo even though I applied to all these schools at the same time and all have released their secondaries.

Just to clear up the Wisconsin thing... Wisconsin requires that residents of the state submit on Aug 18th (last year). I believe OOS applicants can submit whenever they want.

Hey Everybody,

Quick question:

Are secondaries usually delivered via snail mail or electronically?

Thanks!
