Still no interviews invitations. I have 239 step one, 2 SLORs and 1 non-EM LOR in. I applied to 34 places and expected to have at least gotten a couple by now, especially since there were a lot of places I felt I was pretty competitive for that I applied to. I know everyone says interviews come in later for EM, but Ive known a lot of people that have started getting invites from places ive applied. At what point should I start getting worried or thinking that maybe Im missing something in my ERAS without realizing it...?
Thanks

How many rejections? When those start piling up, it's time to get a little worried. Until then, relax.

New poster here, but feeling similarly. My step 1 lower than yours -high 220s, but step 2 in 250s. Fancied myself to be a middle of the pack EM applicant and applied broadly. Wish those interviews would start rollin' in.

These SDN posts, when coupled with the quoted board scores, definitively diagnoses you guys with early-onset matchitis. This form typically resolves by November, but some cases are recalcitrant even to getting interviews from "big name" residencies and will persist through March despite maximal ethanol therapy.

It's early - try to relax. DO NOT start pestering residency directors.

Please define maximal ethanol therapy.

Howabout if there's been a change in your application since it was downloaded (eg a LOR has been uploaded)? It is worthwhile to send a polite email to the program informing them that your application is more complete? Or just wait it out until they download the MSPE in Nov?
