1 semester of O-Chem ok?

I am taking the DAT in August. I will have sufficient biology, 1 year of gen chem, but only a semester of ochem. Should I wait until I complete the year of ochem (december) or is 1 sem of ochem enough for the DAT? By the way, I am applying in June '06.

Personally I would wait unless you can score huge on other sections.

There's a fair amount of material from the second half of organic chemistry. I think you should hold off until you learn it well.
