Just thought I'd point something out I just read in another thread about pharmacology for NBDE part1. Biphosphonates are one of the substances not really mentioned but of relevant importance if you get a case that mentions them. Biphosphonates are usually given for chemotherapy and inhibit osteoclast activity. So you wanna be careful when you're dealing with any procedure that needs the bone to heal, because it would most likely become necrotic because of poor osteoclast activity. (osteoclast resorb bone, and osteoblast form new bone)
 
If a person has more gingival recession on the right side , does this person brush with the left hand or right hand? I think it's the opposite side, cause that's how the brain works, but I'm not sure...... does anyone have an input on this?
 
If the gingival recession on the right is due to tooth brushing the individual will be left handed.
