1998 NBDE Part 1 CONVERSION ACCUARACY

For those of you who have already taken the Part 1 exam and used old tests to study from --- Did you find that the 1998 score conversion chart was accurate? In other words, did you score similarly on the practice tests as you did on the real exam? Thanks in advance for you responses!🙂

I scored about 4-8 points lower on the real thing than on released tests. Then again, I thought the real test was much harder, especially the anatomy section.

I scored 1-2 pts higher on the exam vs. old released exams. Even on each section, it was fairly reflective of how I on the real thing.

For my overall average, I scored about the same. For individual sections, I scored a few points lower in every section except dental anatomy, which was significantly higher than the scores I'd been getting according to the 98 conversion chart. I think the 98 test had a particularly easy dental anatomy section, which skewed the curve on other tests a bit.
