I too am interested in the answer to this. My school reputation and step 1 are strengths of my application. Otherwise, my letters are probably great, my PS is average, and my grades are below average. I'm hoping to swipe a couple invites on the basis of my school and Step 1, but we'll see...
 
This morning I got my first interviews (two) - Louisville & Seton Hall Excited!!!
 
My application has been complete since 9/15 except that my home program hasn't submitted my SLOR (or anyone else's).

Does this mean that no programs will look at my application?

I have this terrible feeling that time is passing and my chances of getting an interview are being eroded because my program can't seem to get SLORs written.

It's going to totally depend on the field, and the institution. I can ask ERAS to sort applications by Step score, or ask it to show me only those with a score of > 280 [don't panic, I just made that number up....]. I can also sort by AOA status. But in order to see # Honors, or "quality of school", I have to look at each application. So each program is going to do things differently, and there is no real way to answer your question.

On a positive note, I just received my second interview invite today. Although, this time from my med school ^_^

Again, not a stellar applicant by any means.

First 2 yrs were P/F
3rd year Honored only medicine related stuff.
(Not sure if my LOR writers included it, but it was on my CV to them, did very well on IM shelf)
Step 1 ~230
Step 2 CK/CS pending
No research
No pubs
No abstracts
Very mediocre community involvement / leadership

I waited about a day and a half to respond to my first interview invite. I wasn't sure how to go about scheduling, so I asked around a bit. When I sent out my request, I was given my first choice of interview dates. Unless it's a competitive school, I'm sure you're okay. But, I probably wouldn't wait around too long.

On a related note, I was talking to a friend of mine who was interviewing for Optho last year. He said he'd get interview invites that literally said "Congratulations. You've been invited to interview at ___________. Blah, blah, blah, blah. You've got 10 minutes to respond to this e-mail." lol. Makes me even more glad I'm going into medicine. That kind of stress would age me faster than I'm aging already o_0

What's a SLOR?
 
I got my first 2 interviews this week😀 I wasn't expecting to hear anything until next week.
