Drexel does not cherry-pick high stats applicants. I know of someone with interviews at four top 25 schools already who was just put on hold by Drexel. Perhaps they sense that those types of applicants are unlikely to matriculate there and look at other factors. All schools are looking for a certain "fit". For most applicants, the criteria they use remain a mystery.

Submitted my secondary last night at 9:30 after I finally received it, and was complete today by 4:00. That is what I call fast..

anyone else having issues with fap? They say i need to email it but i did and they keep not getting it...sent it last monday and this is all tahts holding me up -_-...how long did it take them to verify ure fap for those that did and what email address did u use?

you were the one who told me how to let them know that I have FAP. I just checked today and I was complete. Beside the application fee, it said that I have FAP. I was complete on 8/31.

Yea definitely call the office. You should have received an automatic email the moment the payment went through the website.

From what I've heard, there are multiple essay topics that you may be given. Don't stress over it. You'll have plenty of time to think about it and write it when you're there.

I had finalized and submitted my secondary as of 8/24 but my status page only showed payment/LoR received. I called just now and they were awesome, right over the phone told me it had been received and it was just a mistake and changed my status to complete, maybe now i'll get some interview love...

i think everyone can agree that very little of this entire process makes much sense. Congrats on the interviews you have though, some people are still waiting for their first invite.

I received secondary 8/27. Submitted 8/27. Sent FAP email 8/27. The payment posted as FAP was on 8/31

There were 15 or so applicants the day I interviewed. That was two cycles ago, though. Things may fluctuate.

My question is did most of you who got invites/know what you are doing include activities and extracurriculars from high school? My advisor said that I COULD but i still dont know if I should..


There are clubs I was JUST in in high school that are impressive and I won awards but didn't continue in college. Can I add those to my Drexel secondary? They are not on AMCAS.

You said it yourself: they don't screen. So don't worry about it.

read the thread....they take about 4 weeks to send them out..and they get angry when you call and ask

It's been over 3 months since I was verified and still no secondary...and yes they do get annoyed when you call.

I just added this school today (all my others are submitted).. I got nervous and figured 32 schools wouldn't be enough. Neurotic? Yes.

I guess I'll just have to wait awhile before I even get it.. but that's ok I suppose.
