Did that happen to you guys? Is there supposed to a delay in registering my payment? Or an error?

Hey, could anyone answer my simple question (yes or no)?
"After you guys paid the application fee online with the credit card, did you guys instantaneously have your status page updated saying payment submitted?" OR do you wait a few days for it to say submitted?
 
I'm pretty sure mine was updated immediately, and I also got a receipt-type email about it within a few minutes. Maybe you should call?

Mine didn't update, so I emailed them and they said it usually takes 3 days to process the payment.
 
Is anyone else having trouble accessing the payment service online?

mine still not updated, its been like 2 weeks. i called and they say we have u in the system so dont worry and also its says "complete" online so i guess its all good.
 
I'm sorry, this is beyond ridiculous.

I had my primary App verified on June 15th, and i haven't heard a single word from Drexel despite calling them three times. I have two roommates one of them submitted a day before me, and another submitted in late July. Both of them received their secondaries weeks ago, and one of them received an interview invitation already. 😕

Totally unfair.

Hi thanks guys for your answers.

I guess the payment system is pretty erratic. One person said he/she got updated as "paid" immediately, another said it takes 3 days for it to be processed, and another said he/she's still not marked as paid, but then the application is marked as "complete." That's odd b/c mine isn't marked as complete yet and the status page still says unpaid, although I paid 4 days ago, and my credit card account webpage has already recorded the payment.

I didn't receive an email confirmation of the payment, but I did manage to keep a copy of the web confirmation page at the end of payment process, hopefully that satisfies as proof of payment. So weird, didn't encounter this problem at all with any other school's online payment system.

I called Drexel and the lady on the phone said to send an email to the director of admissions (Kelli something). But no reply yet.

My AMCAS was processed 7/18 (date you got processed matter more than the date you've submitted it), and just got the secondary this week (8/24). It seems pretty random how they send the 2ndary, though I have feeling they either send it according to your GPA and MCAT score or alphabetically. Oh well, the payment system is holding me up anyway, so dno't worry if you didn't get the 2ndary yet.

The earliest available date is Sept 21 (and pretty much the rest of that entire week)
 
those of you who have submitted but not yet received any word yet, when you login to the status page and then login again to see your *decision* do you see a date for when your supplemental was received? I was under the impression i was complete, but there's no date next to the supplemental section in the requirements...

Nope. My decision page says

fwiw, i submitted friday and the only email i've gotten is a payment confirmation. probably takes a few days for them to process, and it's the weekend. plus, status pages are usually not updated in real time.
 
I mean the page right before that, the one that shows if you're complete or not, the bottom of the grid is a "Requirements" section

Oh, all 3 of mine are completely blank. So this isn't automatically updated once you submit and pay. The office probably has to go in and update it manually, is my guess.

And the "application status" a few rows up says "incomplete." I wouldn't worry about it for now.
 
Could someone please post a link to the secondary?

I was verified in June and like many here, I have yet to receive it.

Hey
this would be pretty pointless to link to since they assign you a Drexel Banner ID and Pin
The ID is not your AMCAS number but a random number and the pin is no discernable number that I could figure out (like birthday at many schools)
you'll just have to be patient!

Fun fact: Your secondary ID becomes your student ID if you end up at Drexel.

Congrats to those receiving invites!!!!

Quick questions for the "has your education been continuous to this date?"

I graduated 3 months ago, so I'm just explaining what I have done since graduating. If you submitted a reply here, how long did you make yours? I'm planning on writing about 3 paragraphs. I'm working as a medical scribe, so I would like to descriptively show its importance in my progression. Thoughts?

other people have said that this question only pertains to while you were in school, like if you took a year off during UG, and does not pertain to post-graduation time. but i dont know if this came directly from the office, or if people are just assuming. from the way its worded, it seems correct though. fwiw, i did take some time off and wrote about 3 short paragraphs, about 3/4 of a page.

I called the office and the guy that answered said: "take the question literally" in a rude tone. I told him I graduated 3 months ago and I plan on writing what I did the past 3 months. He replied yes. Take what you want from that lol. I wrote about 3/4 of a page myself 🙂
 
Woot! Just got an interview invite (my first 🙂).

The last couple of weeks have been rough (family health stuff), so it's nice to get some good news. I hope this is the beginning of a trend. 😉

Don't stress over little things like this. Nobody's going to reject you because you gave them some extra info.
 
Interview invite.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but based on a picture I've seen, it looks like the school is in a nice area.

Oh and from this thread, it seems like Drexel is offering interviews without emails this year? Is this true for the recent invitees as well?

Just checked my status page and saw that I was invited for an interview! Didn't expect to find that lol.
 
Interview invite here too. I'll make just one trip to Philly. Back-to-back interviews to save some dinero.
 
I've done so many secondaries i can't seem to remember which one this was? Was this one a submit the secondary online or mail it in? because they've received my letters and my online payment, but not my secondary yet, and I know i wouldn't have forgotten to mail it in or submit it... maybe just taking a while to update the status, i'll call them tomorrow... Payment and LoRs received 8/25 if that matters.

Edit: I just saw when i logged in, it says application finalized and submitted 8/24, so it was definitely received, i suppose they have just not gotten around to updating my requirements/status page.

Those of you that have received interview invites, can you please tell me when you submitted your secondary (as per shown on the first login page) and then in the View Decision page what date it lists for when your supplemental was received in the requirements grid

It was a submit online. No essays, just a few blanks for medically related activities and extracurriculars. You should still be able to access the secondary if you didn't submit it, so maybe see if you can do that?

IDK when they posted the invite on the web but I got an email this morning telling me I had been invited.

Hmm... I guess i'll give them a call tomorrow see if they've received it yet and just not updated my status.
 
Does anyone know how many people were accepted last year vs. how many people actually ended up attending? I'm not sure if this info is available, but I just wanted to see about what my chances of getting in after the interview. Thanks!

In-state admissions data 790 applied, 391 interviewed, 228 were accepted, 93 enrolled
Out-state admissions data 7283 applied, 1368 interviewed, 483 were accepted, 187 enrolled
Women admissions data 4075 applied, 838 interviewed, 357 were accepted, 132 enrolled
Minor admissions data 4707 applied, 693 interviewed, 241 were accepted, 111 enrolled
