You will get your decision soon enough. Chill.
Sorry people may be a little anxious to get the information on the most important decision of their life. jackass
You will get your decision soon enough. Chill.
They told us that the first committee meeting would be on the 24th and that they can't release decisions until the 15th as you pointed out. And yes decisions will be emailed with a follow-up letter 🙂
Does anyone know if October 15 is the day they will release decisions only for all whom have interviewed prior to that day or just the first to interview. Do you think for those that interview early October may have to wait until Novemeber to hear back. Just wondering. Not a big deal but I havent even interviewed yet and I want to get accepted and move out to DC now...! lolAnyways thanks to everyone and good luck yall
😀
I interviewed earlier this week, and they told us that we should expect to hear by the end of October, I believe. The woman who met with us (Ms. Sullivan) explained that the admission committee meets every two weeks to discuss candidates. From this, it sounds like you'll probably have to wait until November.
do you think if you interviewed end of last week they will review you tomorrow? i dont remember when interviews started
SO im gona guess no, not gona get reviewed if you interviewed on the 17th
Ahhh, I was hoping to hear by 10/15.
Wont you? Didn't you interview quite early in the process if I remember correctly? I thought that the first batch would be out by 10/15, no?
Complete: 8/8.
Invite: 9:23
Scheduled: 10/29
but is georgetown cool about re-scheduling?
Can anyone who has interviewed lay out an itinerary of the interview day. I am just curious of what to expect. Thanks a bunch.
how long does it take for u guys to hear from Georgetown? I was complete on 8/18 and haven't heard back. Do they send out invite/rejection by snail mail or email? Thanks!

This has more than likely been addressed somewhere else in this thread, but I thought I might ask anyways. During the interview day are we able to bring our luggage to the site or admissions office for storage.
You can fix the paragraph problem by putting in "<p/>" wherever you want a paragraph break. Took me forever to figure that out...
isnt it late for any school at this pt?I've been holding onto their secondary for 2 months now and have decided to turn it in today. Is this late for georgetown?

Hmm I have been complete since 8/21 and still no news... Do they frown on people calling in about their status?
I've been complete since 7/30 and still no news either way. Must be on some sort of hold list. Or they just forgot about me.
at least its not a rejection-georgetowns been mass rejecting people so its good youve avoided that and maybe youll get an invite soon🙂
<-- one of the mass-rejected people
Complete 8/23
3.25c/41R
ballnutsacks.
just got mass rejected. (3.7/40). my first rejection =(
Really? a 10 day turn-around? That seems way too quick for a 10k applicant school.Huzzah! Rejected as well! Congrats everyone! 🙂
Complete 9/18
3.35 cGPA/38S Male
First decision (rejection or interview) of the year! Hahaha, no worries, wasn't too keen on DC either way.

Yeah, it was pretty quick. I'm grateful for that, at least, as I've been hankering for some sort of decision from ANY school, even if it is indeed a rejection.
I'm sure I didn't get past one of their early screens thanks to the GPA or something.
Damn Phoenix, your statistics make me feel much better about my rejection.
What the hell do these people want if YOU get rejected?
qft. These schools that are 10k+ have to rejected people who are qualified and in all likelyhood will still have multiple acceptances. I wouldnt let these 4 schools get you down too bad. Its just too hard to cut down like 14k to a class of 200 or so...haha to tell you the truth, i wouldn't worry about a rejection from either georgetown, GW, BU, or drexel. all four of these schools have over 10k applicants a year and people with 4.0/42 get rejected from these schools. who knows what they're looking for.
i'm sure you'll be fine. it's a crapshoot (especially these four schools) and still really early. good luck!
