yup complete..found out when i called. she seemed really confused when i asked about the status of my app, so i had to clarify what i meant...

I doubt it...since LORs are a part of your evaluation, your file usually isn't considered complete until they are received. THEN the file undergoes review/consideration for an interview.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Now I'm scared. What about last year? The earliest on forum is late August... Should I call Monday or just wait until they set the program up?

8/18 was the earliest I saw from last year. But the secondary came out earlier this year than last. So guess we shall see.

When I called yesterday to check on my application, the lady said it would be at least 2 weeks until they start sending out invites!
 
So, does Tulane not have online status checking?
 
for the photo, is the general consensus that it should be a professional looking photo.. as in cropping a nice looking photo is not okay?

I submitted my primary on 7/23. About how far apart are those 'batches' of secondaries coming? When was the last one?

i submitted primary 6/3 and didn't get this until 7/13. You should call and ask to make sure? you'll love the south if you come here. 😉

meh, i'll give it a couple weeks. i'm still sitting on my first batch of secondaries because i can't afford to pay the fees yet. so it'll make my life easier if the rest of them come in slowly . . .

and i think i'd love the south. i know my dog would, she's a little p*ssy and can't handle the cold at all. neither can i, but at least i don't have to poop outside.

lol. I don't! My dog does!!!!! :laugh:

I wish i could train her to use the toilet . . . but if i leave it open she drinks out of it. so i better just move somewhere warm enough that she feels comfortable pooing outside year-round. honestly it's ridiculous in the winter . . . she will walk like 20 feet and then start standing like a tripod because her feet are cold. its actually pretty sad. but even worse than the cold is the salt, people dump so much of it all over the sidewalks, it's hard for me to find a salt-free spot to walk her. that stuff is terrible for dogs' feet. and she's too short to walk in snow deeper than about 4 inches- she's half weiner dog.

i even tried to get her to wear those little doggy boot things but she hates them and they never fit right anyway (her legs are stumpy.) and the other thing about walking her when it's cold, i suck at being coordinated, so if there's ice, i slip and fall on my ass a lot. i've had about enough of that. South, here I come (i hope.)

you should write all that in your secondaries for schools that have nicer weather, they'll love it 😉
 
I pressed the submit button thinking that it would automatically take me to the credit card payment page since I don't have a fee waiver, but it just took me to the confirmation of submission page, and then I got an email stating that my online form had been successfully submitted...

So my application has been submitted, but I did not pay $100.

Are we supposed to pay later like after we're complete? 😕

there is probably a submit button somewhere else! i know for a lot of the applications you can pay before you submit or vice versa..
 
or maybe they liked your application and waived your fee 😉😛

Haha. I might not go so far as to talk about my dog's neurotic pooping behavior. but it did cross my mind to mention how i am always falling on ice, if they seem to have a good sense of humor . . . but then, i dont want to concern them that i would slip on blood or something and fall knife-first into a surgical field. 😀

So anyway, got my secondary today! I was going to wait to submit it since I dont have the $$$ but if they're letting people submit them for free now maybe I ought to!

Maybe they didn't charge you because they are planning to accept you and they feel bad about how high their tuition is. (They are the most expensive on my list, although in general I tried to avoid the ridiculously expensive schools.)
 
Should I call if i'm compelte or not? A lady told me they will put a status page up but I don't see it.

I just called on Monday and the lady said we don't do status checks on the phone, the website check should be up soon.

Yeah, I remember someone saying that, so I called and was told that they were setting up a status page the same day ksmi called.

My AMCAS was verified on 7/18 and still no word from Tulane about a secondary. Should I call them or give them more time? Thanks
