ahhh the waiting sucks! has anyone who received the "final decision" status received a rejection?
my status just got changed to this
"Your file is currently under review by the admissions committee. No decision has yet been made regarding your admission status to Drexel of University."
So the Drexel Of University status is still alive in kicking... Hoping to hear something soon... nervous!

I interviewed on 10/15
I got the "forwarded to a member" status on 10/22
and now this new one
Has anyone heard anything yet that received the "final decision" status on 10/22? This wait is actually driving me craazy. Also, it says that they send the snail mail to your preferred address, but I have a friend who applied last year, and they sent the packet to her permanent address. To anyone who has already received their decision- which address did they send it to?

I got the final decision status on 10/22 and received my letter yesterday. The wait is terrible - and it went to my home address - I never updated it because I knew I'd be moving before the application cycle got cooking.

congrats! i've only had the final decision status since last friday (10/29) but i'm getting anxious for a letter already. if that person who emailed the admissions office is correct, letters went out on monday so they should be here today or tomorrow?

I doubt it will come today or tomorrow for you... they told me they have to print and proofread and all that stuff, so letters don't go out until the week following the decision... then they get to your address the next week. My letter was only going less than two hours' drive away and it still took this long. But I hope for your sake the other poster was right and your letter will be there soon!
In last year's thread, someone said all letters take 7-10 days regardless, so consider it a good lesson in bureaucracy... best to get used to it now.

anbuitachi, that does sound like a hold. I think a few people in the thread have been rereviewed, you might want to read through previous posts.
Hi! My interview was 9/27.
haha don't worry about it, i'm just impatient in general. just hoping that the final decision is a good thing
and not a rejection...that would be harsh after all this waiting. i guess i'll find out next week!
I looked at last year's thread... most of the early "final decisions" were acceptances, so hopefully it's good news for you too, ACP!

ahhh me too 🙁 same status! I guess it's bitter sweet.... bitter cuz we are not accepted... sweet cuz we are not rejected.
I remember them saying at the interview the waitlist doesn't move til june-july... 😱
not gonna lie, id rather be rejected then waitlisted... i want the closure! I know I say this now, but I'm gonna be thankful for the waitlist later you know? Very mixed feelings 🙁

While I have no idea what the numbers are, I can attest that last year I interviewed (also in October) and received a post interview rejection. With my current "final decision" status, you can imagine the anxiety I am having to endure.
Looking at last year's thread, most of the final decisions to come out of the first couple rounds were acceptances. Just going to throw that out there.

for those who have received interview invites: how long after you were complete did you receive the invite? i'm not sure when exactly i was complete, but i submitted the secondary late august.

I'm concerned because I submitted my secondary late august and still have the "no decision is available" status. It seems as though they have a separate hold status for those who are on hold. What does the "no decision" status even mean? Does it mean that my application hasn't even been reviewed? thanks!
I called premed. I've had no decision since early August. If I remember she said that it meant they haven't gotten to our app. haha not sure how true that is. It feels like a rejection and not a hold. But hey I'm holding out to the possibility that this may mean a better chance of getting an interview.
