Not related to Drexel specifically, but I have been sending e-mail thank yous. That way I know they will get it, and have it reach them soon enough that they will recognize who it's from, and even make it convenient for them to reply if they so choose. I dunno I thought about sending thank you notes by mail, but actually found that it's a huge pain to write thank yous to some people (their school mail address is often almost impossible to find). Unprofessional? Perhaps. But we live in a digital age...

Same. I just logged in last week and saw it and went ahead and scheduled the interview but I haven't received an email or anything else either. I'm sure it's fine since we were able to schedule the interview. Congrats!

Hi guys! I interviewed here the first day of interviews (9/20) and I was wondering if anyone knows how they contact you about an admissions decision. Is it an email/snail mail/call or what? They said 4 to 6 weeks for a decision but do you think that we may hear on Oct 15th?
I guess this question is mostly for the current med students at Drexel - how did you hear about your acceptance?

I just looked it up on the acceptance thread for the last two years. Drexel notifies by snail mail. It seems like two years ago the first acceptances were given out on 10-24 for those who interviewed in the middle/late Sept. Last year the first notice was on 10-21 for a 9-24 interviewee. Hope this information helps. Good luck!
If anyone cancels or reschedules their interview I would really appreciate a pm. I have one schedule for december but would really love to move it up.
Is anyone else a current Drexel student/staff member? While I can log in to the secondary application page using my email id and password, I can't get to the status check page because I have no pin! I had to call admissions to schedule my interview for the same reason. Just wanted to see if anyone else had experienced/solved the same problem before I give admissions another call! 🙂
Not a staff member or student but...
I had the same problem. I called the office that handles Banner Web support and they were able to give me a PIN. I don't remember where exactly but their number is somewhere on one of the Banner login pages. Hope this is of some help!
I'm a student, and just discovered that you can retrieve your PIN through BannerWeb here. I tested it on the Application Status page, and it worked.
At least yours is in 2010, mine isn't until next January

My status changed today post interview (23 days post) to:
"Your file is currently under review by the admissions committee. No decision has yet been made regarding your admission status to Drexel of University."

"No decision" since early August. Anyone else in the same boat and tried calling the admissions office? I have this strange fear of calling and bothering them...

First acceptances went out on 10/24 last year and they said we would have to wait till end of Oct/beg of Nov for the first decisions this year.
I got a FINAL decision has been reached and will be mailed to your preferred address. Today.
I interviewed 9/20... hopefully this is good.. gah!

Interesting... I applied last year and did not notice that subtlety. Obviously I must have gotten the bad kind of "final" decision.

Well... That sucks cause I got a "decision" not a final one... Here's to hoping it's a typo!
Yeah, I think I only know because I was very late in the application cycle last year.. and someone did a poll of accept/reject=final and waitlist=a decision. And it was confirmed the truth to me because I got "a decision" followed by a waitlist letter.
Hopefully it will be an acceptance this time.. now I get to be a bundle of nerves for the next week or so...

I interviewed on the 30th... I guess the "Typo" message is for people who's been waitlisted?
Gosh, now I'm going to go crazy all day, knowing my mailbox might have an acceptance/rejection in it in a few hours.
I actually don't know if I have the typo, it just said I was under review by the adcom. I just assumed everyone had the typo at that stage of the game.
Last year's thread seemed to say that if you get a message AFTER review by the adcom that if you get a message saying there is a FINAL decision on your application, you are accepted or rejected or if you get a message saying there is a decision, you are waitlisted.
It's not an email... you'll have to go to the school website and check your status. I interviewed 9/22 and mine has changed to "final decision."
I perused through last year's thread and it seems to me that after getting a "final decision", one is more likely to get accepted than rejected. Some claimed it's a 50/50 thing, but it really didn't seem that way to me. And expect it to arrive about a week after your status initially changed.
I kinda wished I never stumble onto the posts that alerted me to my status change b/c I have been in a frenzy since. 🙁
