does anyone have the match list for this year?
Has anyone interviewed mid-January and has heard back from Drexel?
Congrats, I know we were both in the same relative boat for a while:
Interviewed Dec 6th
Status: 6-8 weeks before a decision, Dec 6th-Mar 7th (13 weeks)
Status: With a member of the committee, Mar 8th
Status: With the committee, Mar 9th
Status: A Final Decision has been sent, Mar 11th
Note: from Late Feb-this week, I had been calling and asking about my status. I am sure they had this image of a pest-like status troll when they made their decison. I am not expecting to get in here.
Interviewed first week of Feb.
Status changed today from "6-8 weeks for a final decision" to "under review by the admissions committee" (did not get the "with a member" stage for some reason).
I noticed some folks get stalled at the "with a member" stage for a while. Since I am at "the committee" stage, should I expect a decision soon?
Thanks.
So, I got waitlisted as well. Does this mean that my interview did not go well? At this point is that all the decision hinges on?
That's a pre interview hold but it is as good as rejection for most people. Like most pre interview holds, only a small percent get off and get interviews. Most get rejected. So its not officially a rejection per se but its more likely if you get that that you are getting rejected. that's what we deduced based on previous drexel threads when me and my friend examined this issue after getting the hold.
Yes and yes.
There were a couple rejections in the beginning of the season, I think.
Updates can go to the e-mail addresses on the website. I think I used the medadmit one.
Hey guys, I am new to this thing. But does anyone know how long it takes for a final decision once your application is with the committee? Also, if it says a final decision is made, does that mean your accepted?
If you get accepted do they call, or just send a package?
has anyone's status changed from "a final decision" to "a decision"?? i first noticed the final decision status on friday night, then checked again tonight and saw that my status changed to "a decision". clearly i'm freaking out a little while waiting for my letter. 🙁
Where did you decide to go instead? If u dont mind my asking... 🙂I just typed up my post acceptance withdraw letter so hopefully my spot will go to someone waiting! Good luck everyone![]()
Time with the committee varies greatly. A "final decision" is an acceptance or rejection. "a decision" means wait list.
then what's the difference between under review with a Member of the admissions committee (will be sent to committee shortly) vs under review by the admissions committee?
ok thanks! i hope since my status changed to under review by admissions committee yesterday that they reviewed me today. Do you know how it takes them to update your status to decision after they review your app? Is it that same day?
It's hard to say how long it will be between your app going to the committee and you getting a decision. For me it took several weeks, for other people om the thread only a few days between going to committee and the final decision status. It seems like they meet on Thursdays (a lot of people's statuses have changed Thursday night/Friday in the past). Good luck!!![]()

did anybody get a final decision/a decision today?
Hi Guys, sorry if this has already been answered before, but I haven't been following the Drexel thread regularly.... I interviewed on Monday, 3/21 and my status just changed today to, "Your file is currently under review by a member of the admissions committee and will be sent to committee shortly."
Does anyone know how the timing works on getting this status, and how long it will actually take to go to committee from here? Any ideas? Is this fairly quick? I honestly didn't expect to see a status change for quite a while, as Ms. Kennedy told us any decision wouldn't come until about 8 weeks.
Thanks for any insight! Good luck to you all![]()
Thanks, penndoc! Not sure if it changed today since I've been out of town, but I now have the "A final decision has been reached" status.
I got that status the day after my interview. I'm now getting my final decision about 9 weeks post-interview, but other people have waited longer.

Mine changed yesterday to final decision as well. Good luck to everyone!!!!!! It took a very long time but I'm so happy to finally know my status.
Does anyone know what the financial aid process is for Drexel? When do we get an offer?
I interviewed 1/31 and my status still says "your interview has been scheduled." I thought I would add that to the mix for people's theories. It could be that what really matters is when you get the final status of a "decision has been made" in terms of when you get the letter. The timing of the intermediate status changes could be arbitrary. I think I'll call just to double check that my application isn't buried under something, however 😎I got that status the day after my interview. I'm now getting my final decision about 9 weeks post-interview, but other people have waited longer.
I heard June
Sounds that way. I don't remember the source of this information, haven't seen it anywhere else but on SDN.Wow, really? June? So if we were to choose this as our one acceptance by the May 15th deadline, we would have no idea what we'd have to pay?

Anybody here who interviewed 02/14 received a final decision yet?
