Ok, there is a minority second look weekend in mid March. See some of you then. I wish it were for everyone, I want to meet all of my future classmates!!!! Good luck to everyone🙂

Hey, apologies for the late response!

I interviewed about three weeks prior to my acceptance - November 1st, I think.
 
Did any one get an interview invit recently? if you do, can you please post your stats? Thanks a lot!
 
when you guys sent updates did you email them to ms levy or to whom??
 
Has anyone who interviewed on November 12th received an acceptance letter? If so, what region are you in?

Think they will count us Jewish folks in for that weekend??? 😛

I don't think there are all that many of us in Atlanta 😀

emory actually has a pretty sizeable jewish population. also there's actually a pretty big jewish community in druid hills, i drive by the synagogue to work everyday and a lot of the congregation lives within walking distance haha

i sent an update letter a week ago but i got no confirmation that they received it. should i call in???
 
Does anyone here have a rough idea of how important the interview is to the overall applicant profile?

I had a splitting headache from my arrival in Atlanta through the next day and I'm not sure I did that well - honestly I think I could have been lobotomized and sat drooling on the table and managed roughly the same performance. A shame, too - I really liked what I saw 🙁

My friend lives in Marietta and she told me there isn't a big Jewish presence in Atlanta...

congrats!! this school was amazing! did they tell you over the phone that letters were supposed to go out Friday?

They did, however they also said that due to the holidays it might take a while to get to me. I live 5 minutes from Emory and still didn't have mine as of this morning.
 
Hey guys,

Does anyone know if there is going to be a second look weekend? I'm assuming from the lack of information they gave us about a potential look there isn't a formal one but I wasn't sure if there was another opportunity to visit the school with other potential classmates. Thanks!

There is one in mid March for URM, but I don't think there's one for the whole class unfortunately.
 
Guess no one has found anything in the mail yet. I sent in a letter of intent that got there about a week ago. Hope they show me some love!

So if I were to get an acceptance, what truck should I be stalking? UPS, FedEx, or the post office USPS??? :laugh:

I was complete 8/19 and got an email this week inviting me to interview in January.

Nothing here in Maryland yet. Of course, I may be delusional thinking that I am going to receive anything.
