I interviewed about three weeks prior to my acceptance - November 1st, I think.

I don't think there are all that many of us in Atlanta 😀
emory actually has a pretty sizeable jewish population. also there's actually a pretty big jewish community in druid hills, i drive by the synagogue to work everyday and a lot of the congregation lives within walking distance haha

Does anyone here have a rough idea of how important the interview is to the overall applicant profile?
I had a splitting headache from my arrival in Atlanta through the next day and I'm not sure I did that well - honestly I think I could have been lobotomized and sat drooling on the table and managed roughly the same performance. A shame, too - I really liked what I saw 🙁

I thought we were told letters go out on the 21st...
"on or before" the 21st. So they're probably sending them out a bit early since the holidays are coming up.

congrats!! this school was amazing! did they tell you over the phone that letters were supposed to go out Friday?
They did, however they also said that due to the holidays it might take a while to get to me. I live 5 minutes from Emory and still didn't have mine as of this morning.

There is one in mid March for URM, but I don't think there's one for the whole class unfortunately.

I was complete 8/19 and got an email this week inviting me to interview in January.
Grats. Complete 9/13 and just sent in my pre-interview update. Hoping to get to Emory soon.
