Thanks, everyone. I'll try to keep my fingers crossed. I have an interview on Friday, so hopefully I can have that keep me occupied in the meantime.

and I am glad to hear that doctordang and bjb0403's interviews seemed to go well!! I have literally been praying for this entire thread because I know how important this entire process is to us and how it seems like we would have such a strong and supportive class!

Ahh!! Well, Jan 15th is coming very soon. And I might be hearing from Ms. Walk and the rest of Committee sometime soon. I am nervous and excited and every other emotion I can possibly think of !!!

I LOVE HOWARD! PLEASEEEE accept me =]

and BeeWeew! Hope your interview preparation is going!

Hey, Whatupron! Awwww~ hang in there... i'm sure it's nerve-wracking, this waiting period but I've got faith in you!! And, yep, I'm def prepping and trying to get my excitement to settle down a bit. My stomach has got butterflies fluttering away!

I have been complete since 08/19/10 and I haven't received any news good or bad...I wonder if I am still in the running?

Currently sleeping at the airport 😴 Flying home in 9 hours! 🙂
I'm just sitting here, reflecting on this trip. Overall, my trip has been wonderful, I got a chance to meet Beeweew, visit the National Mall, and of course, visit Howard! Thank you Howard for having me!
Even though the interview is over, I am really nervous, I really hope I did well 🙂

I hope to see everyone at Howard again😀

for those of you who have gotten it already, was there anything in the financial aid packet other than the school's application for aid? wanna know because i can just print that from the website instead of waiting for it in the mail.

There was some additional information (can't remember exactly what it was). However, the only thing you need to mail back to them is the financial aid form that is available on their website. My suggestion is go ahead and print it out!

Maybe consider calling someone if you haven't received the financial aid packet. I was admitted after you and I received my packet earlier this month a day or two after my admissions packet. I think others have experienced a similar timetable.

Now I have a question haha. When you all have sent in your deposit have you received some sort of confirmation of its receipt? I haven't yet and it has been almost two weeks :/.

yes. You should have gotten an email confirmation. This is why i don't trust the usps...

I wish i would have selected the 26 instead of Feb 8th (My choices were 1/11, 1/19, 1/26, and I asked for another date for financial reasons so Ms Walk gave me 2/8). Im kicking myself about that 😡

As soon as I picked that date, I came into some extra money lol.

Because I HAVE JUST BEEN ACCEPTED TO HOWARD'S CLASS OF 2015!!!!!!! THANK GOD=]!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought you all would like to know since we all have been so supportive of each other!!! Thanks to everyone on this thread for going through this process with me 🙂


I got the email from Ms. Walk at about 1PM Pacific Time. All it pretty much said was that my Decision Letter has been signed. I never received an "Out of Committee" email? Just this Decision Letter email telling me to call Ms. Walk!

Thank you everyone and best of luck to us all !!!!!!!!🙂🙂

Congrats. Strange, I never got an email or call. all the acceptance materials just showed up in the mail.

Congrats again.

I'm not sure of the particulars at Howard but most schools due the white coat ceremony at little bit after you have started your first year.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Miss Dee Dee mentioned that class starts around mid-july and white coat ceremony is around august 6? 🙂

Hey, Whatupron! Thanks for the good vibes.. The interview is tomorrow... I have butterflies in my stomach... feeling really excited, nervous. My sister is dropping me off early tomorrow and I think I'll have my "warrior" playlist playing on the ride over for a little attitude boost LOL! I just hope I do well and of course I'll fill you guys in afterwards!
