for those of you who've been accepted: have you received your letter/packet in the mail yet? i'm still waiting for mine...

My theory is that now they still end up accepting around ~350 (based on that data someone provided), but by underaccepting at first, waitlisting many people and then accepting them as space provides in may, it basically ensures that enrollment will be smooth and not go over.

And I have good reason to think that lots of people are waitlisted...the e-mail says that "While some applicants are accepted into the class immediately following this initial committee review, the great majority of (interviewed) applicants are placed into the Acceptance Range category."Honestly, I think all of us are very much still in the running. 👍

Ok good I was hoping that 80% includes those who eventually get accepted off the waitlist!

Of course you have a chance for an interview. Are you serious, man? While this process is to some extent arbitrary, those numbers I'm sure will at least result in them taking a closer look at your app to see what else you've done. Crikey.

Submitted 9/3, complete email this morning.

I wouldn't have known if I hadn't checked my Spam folder, which is unusual. There was a complete email in there from another school too. My own email provider is the impediment to being informed.

accepted today, just got the email. I really loved this place when I visited so I'm super excited. 😀

31/3.6 OOS, interviewed 10/8 for those who care about those details.

Feels great. This has been a process I've been working on for a long time. Good luck to everyone on the waitlist-- there will be lots of movement, just wait for it.

Celebrating with a New Belgium seasonal and a trip to the dog park for some frisbee.

Complete email 10/6, pre-interview rejection today 🙁 I really love this school, very sad.

Same here! Thank God I have next to no free time...otherwise I'd have more opportunity to obsess about these things ad nauseum...

I submitted 9/2 and just got my complete too! I'm crossing my fingers for an interview! Good luck

Yeah I just got my complete email this morning, I submitted the first week of September as well. They seem to be a few weeks behind. I am sure this may have something to do with the admissions office staff of one person.

I submitted 10/9. By the looks of it, it will be another 4 or so weeks, before I get a complete status. I emailed them 8 days ago, but they did not respond to my email. So I will try calling on Monday.

Thanks!! Apparently I got my complete email 10/14 after submitting 8/24. I would've never seen it if I hadn't read your post and checked my spam folder!!
 
I submitted 9/8, got the complete email 11/1. It looks like from previous posts that I have another 4-6 weeks before I should expect to hear anything next, is that right?
 
i submitted my 2ndary 8/13. got a complete towards the end of september, and have yet to hear anything back. its been like 6 weeks. anyone else waited this long????

I got the complete email 8/25 and didn't get an interview invite until exactly 8 weeks later.

I just got an interview invitation for the end of November after being "complete" since 9/23. Good luck to those still waiting!

I've been complete since early August and just got an interview invite today, so don't give up hope!
 
Interview! So psyched, especially since I totally thought it was leading to a silent rejection.... 😳
 
Rejected pre-interview. Complete e-mail exactly 3 weeks ago. Oh well, no biggie. One less thread I'll be checking neurotically. 🙄

I got my complete e-mail 10/28, submitted my secondary on 9/5.

And now...we wait...for a change...again...

Low GPA, high MCAT, OOS

bummer, leaving tomorrow for an interview elsewhere, not exactly a confidence boost.

woooooooo interview!!!

i thought i had a good shot at tulane when i was applying. my stats r NOT GREAT...3.5 cpga 33M and...gasp...3.2 sgpa, but i think my humanities major is helping me out. in the msar it said tulane was only like 45% science and math if i recall correctly

so if anyone has a not awesome gpa like mine, there is hope!
 
Accepted on Sunday, 11/7 via email, still waiting for the snail mail letter. I interviewed 10/22. It was a great first interview experience. It was a very open and friendly interview.
GPA: 3.27
MCAT: 32
I did AmeriCorps for a year which I think helped. I applied to 12 schools, have 3 rejections and this 1 acceptance. I haven't even heard from the other 8 schools and was getting nervous due to my GPA, so I'm really happy to have this one acceptance!
 
Interview invite yesterday. Submitted mid August, complete around Sep 17. Now time to try and find a cheap flight from cali!
 
Got marked complete today as well. Interesting story though. I called the admissions office Friday the 12th and they told me that on the 1st they emailed me a rejection email. So I called today after getting the "complete" email, found out that I am just now under review . . . Hope this isn't a bad sign.
 
Rejected this morning. Remind me to never open any emails that purport to have IMPORTANT INFORMATION in them.
