Thanks everyone!! I will be there December 7th. My primary was submitted early June and my secondary in late June. I plan on going back in the thread tonight to see what other's impressions were on their interview days. Hope to see some of you there in a few short weeks 🙂
 
Anybody have any idea how far into december they interview? Still holding on to some hope that they give me a late II.
 
Does anyone know when they'll be sending out acceptances? I know they can start releasing them after Nov. 15th, but have they traditionally?

So I actually went and checked on last year's thread. They released them at around 4 p.m.

This year is going to be different for A&M than other years because they offered too many seats last year and were overbooked. Out of their 200 seat class, about 30 seats are already taken by people that were accepted last year and then deferred. That leaves 170 seats. At my interview it was said that they would offer 170 seats only on Nov 15th. They had previously gave 3 offers for 1 seat they had. However, they had more people accept than they anticipated last year so they are making 1 offer for one seat on Nov 15th. After that, as they get rejections, they will offer acceptances by going down their rank list.

So basically they aren't giving out anymore interview invites?

I don't know about that. I would think that if you interviewed here later you would have a decent chance because even though you would interview later, the date wouldn't affect the way the school ranks you.

So, if you interview later and the school ranks you to the top of the list, then you get the next available slot because they haven't made 3 offers for one seat.

so 4 pm is what we wait for. Good luck everyone! I interviewed on Aug 18th and have heard no news since. So I'm hoping for some good news today!
 
Does anybody else's status on the secondary website say "Accepted to the class of 2015"?? Hope this is a good sign/error...

Mine says the same. I have a feeling it is a good sign! (as in you're probably accepted for EY 2016!) 👍

It wouldn't make sense for it to say "Accepted to the class of 2015". We're applying for the class of 2016. Mine still says "interviewed".

Pre-matched!!

And lol, mines said class of 2015 as well...I called them up and they said it was just a mistake that will be fixed soon...They said just ignore that and if you see "Accepted" you are good to go!🙂
 
Still haven't received an email, but they changed my status page to 2016 now!
 
I GOT ACCEPTED TOO!!!! I'm SHOCKED!.....does anybody know that if we don't accept the offer by the 30th if our offer will be rescinded? Trying to still wait on other schools (even it still means waiting for match day)
 
wait, can we accept the offer now and withdraw later ? or if we accept the offer now, its permanent?
 
My advisor said Texas A&M wants to hurry up with your decision, but you really have longer than the 30th to make a decision. But my question is, once you accept the offer.....does that automatically rule you out from acceptances from other schools?

TMDSAS said you can hold more than one prematch offers.

From what I saw my adviser telling friends---you have to say yes or no by the 30th but can keep accepting pre-matches afterwards
 
also accepted! although I'm kind of confused about this whole Nov 30th deadline...

Yes, I just checked the info stuffs A&M gave us on the interview day and it said we can hold more than one prematch offers.

It also said we have to respond within two weeks (by 11/30) or else the seat is gone.

So if I accept the offer now, can I withdraw later?

yea dude, so i am assuming you are in state. All a pre-match means is that they are holding a seat for you. If you accept a pre-match offer you can just rank other schools higher for the feburary match and you will have a shot at the other schools before you get your (guaranteed) seat at a&m.

You can hold multiple pre-matches and withdraw from any of them if you want. Some people already know what school they want to go to so if they get that pre-match, they just withdraw all the other ones or don't accept them

Accepting doesn't mean you 100% are going there--it just means you want them to hold your spot. You can accept as many schools as you want right now.
 
For those of you who interviewed at a campus that may not have been of their number choosing, def second look at the other.
 
Ok so the email says to send it in by Sunday Nov 20 but then later says by Wed Nov 30. Beyond confused. By sending this in I do not commit right?

Also, which address do I send it to?

Bryan or Temple?

Did they send all of their 170 spots today? So if we did not get an acceptance offer today, no hope?
 
Hi yall!!!I need some help. I am interviewing at Temple this Thursday. However, I deleted the email they sent us with the invite--the one that had the link to the page with all the hotel info/campus info/interview info.

I need to know which hotels they recommend!!! Can someone please tell me.
Also, if you can even just forward me the email, that would be even better!! Message me!

Dude, I have the same questions. I think I will call early tomorrow. Nov 20 seems so soon and Nov.30 is the date on the form. I am confused too lol

It requires username and password which were given to you in the email.

I stayed at Fairfield which is very close to the school, you can just look it up.
