Nope, still twiddling my deferment thumbs. Interviewed early January.

I plan to decline an offer anyway, but I'm just curious if I have what it take to be a Tuftian.

I have been deferred since December. No news for me either. I have been actively trying to send them a few updates every once in a while to show them that I am still interested.

Yup, I am. Counting it as a rejection at this point but I guess I could still hear from them with an II? I was complete Oct. 27.

For some reason, the rejection train has missed me so far as well. My hypothesis is that since I'm local I could fill in on short notice if a slot opens up. Not good enough to interview, but good enough to keep on hold until their interview period is done. Still holding on to some hope here. I'd love to go to Tufts, especially since they were just designated a level one trauma center.

I hear ya. I had an interview on their very first day, 9/15, I'm still deferred and don't plan to go but it's always nice to know!

I would appear to be as well. I just now saw on this thread that people were beginning to be rejected. I was accepted for the Tufts Maine Track, but didn't even interview for the regular MD track. I dunno if maybe they just aren't sending me a rejection letter since I'm already in in some respect, but it would be nice to know.

You probably won't be getting a rejection because you've been accepted into one of their programs.

Being deferred means you're going to end up on the waitlist in May, so don't expect anything until then.

earlier in the cycle, that was probably more likely, but I wouldn't count on it at this point.

I'm starting to suspect that "not the same thing as a waitlist" means being deferred doesn't necessarily mean you'll be on the waitlist, but being placed on the waitlist is the best possible scenario.

Just had my interview tuesday March 27th. It was the second to last one. I swear I was the last one to turn in an application they didn't offer me an interview until 3/23. They said I'd hear back like 2nd or 3rd week in April.

Did you send in the financial aid info? It's a lot of stuff, both you and your parents application, tax return, w-2's and mortgage statement.

I don't think they'll hand out awards for awhile cause their priority deadline was today.

I heard that the next admissions committee meeting will take place next week, with decisions going out in 2 weeks. I *believe* (and this may be wrong) that that will be the final round of accept/defer/reject until May 15th.
