I am having the same experience with the south. I almost want to write my remaining 3 sites letters saying "I really, really, really want to live in the south!! I swear!!!"

While I'm pleased it's not another definite no, I'm at a loss for what to do, as I was holding off on booking a flight to Ohio for another interview until I knew, and now it appears as though I'm still in a holding pattern. My inclination would be to go ahead and book. If you use Southwest (I think? Or is it JetBlue?) there is no change fee if you need to reschedule your flight.

Rejection from St. Elizabeth's. Short, not very sweet. Two more that should be coming through today... :beat:

Received an invite from Grand Valley State University CC. It seemed to be a mass email, and they conduct phone interviews during January.

Only 2 sites left to hear from (Purdue CC, Adler Community Health Services), and it sounds like they will both be delayed (notify by end of the week or Monday). So for now I guess I'll be content with 7 interviews, 8 rejections, and 2 I'm still waiting on.
 
Just got a mass e-mail ("Dear Applicant") from American Lake, stating that my application is still under review and inviting me to their open house. The e-mail also said they notified applicants who are no longer under consideration.
 
FYI... A friend of mine just got offered an interview at American Lake, for those of you who are wondering whether they'll send out invites. Good luck!!
 
It would have helped had I checked on the programs' website.

Southern AZ Consortium: notification is the 17th.

Woodhull Med: yesterday (which probably means I should e-mail them).

See what happens to freakin' out?! 😉
 
So I just received a letterheaded email (not personalized) essentially stating that I have made the first cut at American Lake: e.g.,

"The initial sort of applications has been run and those applicants who are no longer under consideration have been notified. The remainder of our ranking process is not complete until very close to the Match ranking deadline. You should assume your name remains under consideration unless we notify you to the contrary...."

Crazy it is more like NON-news and more vaguery, but at least it is something. LOL
the email ends with another iteration that we are welcome to attend the Open House although if we do not, it will not affect our interview status (!)

Anyone else get this email?

WHEW! So glad the waiting game is O-V-E-R! I heard from my last 2 sites today, and I hope it is getting close for most of you as well. It's been emotionally draining (have I had a good night of sleep since 11/1?) and challenging, bringing up so many insecurities and fears I have (did I pick the wrong profession? do I love clinical work or research or hate both?!). You guys have been awesome, supportive, insightful, and wherever you end up, you will shine and become great psychologists! I really value how honest and open many of you have been on the forum. It's something my cohort hasn't really provided in this process (since many of us are competing for the same sites).

I couldn't be happier with the final tally: 4 rejections, 14 interviews, 1 invite to open house. So grateful for the turnout!!! Now if only I can figure out my January schedule... (thank goodness 4 interviews are in Dec and I'm turning down 1 interview due to scheduling conflicts) 🙂
 
I just got an interview invite from UCLA CC, which was a nice surprise as I've had a string of rejections this week. It was a mass (not personalized) email.
 
I got rejections from the Central Texas VA and the VA in Hawaii. I am waiting to hear from two sites still:
FCC Butner (I know some people have gotten invites there so I am expecting a rejection. Has anyone gotten s rejection from them?)
Also OU Health Sciences adult track (Have they sent out any invites or rejections?)

I am pretty sure these sites had today's date listed as their notification deadline. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

The last 24 hours have been intense:

Interview invitations from:
- RAMS (email)
- Boston Multicultural (email)
- Ashville VA (phone call)

I have 10 interviews and no sites left to hear from...I am freaking out with travel arrangements but very very happy.

Thanks for pointing that out! Lol! I went and look some of the others I am waiting on up and found the superior court district of Columbia child guidance center is also actually the 17th not today & Morrison is the 31st! Duh!
 
2 interview invites today (I Ola Lahui Rural Hawaii Behavioral Health, my #1!!! & Carroll County Board of Education- appic site but I'm excited about it!!)

Hawaii- Personalized email... no dates yet.. but since I'm gonna BE in hawaii next tues, I'm going to let them know and see if we can figure it out.

CCBOE- Mass email, but the lady was VERY apologetic about it.. apparantly has a sick child.

Also heard from Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health via personalized email. No interview, but apparently I'm and "alternate" in case someone decides not to go...

Still waiting on Youth Opportunity Center

Oh!... Almost forgot.. rejection from mailman center via email...

Sitting in a hotel waiting to fly out to celebrate my great grandfather's would-have-been 100th birthday... Very much looking forward to a little bit of a rest! 🙂

Congrats!! That's my last one to hear from, and I wasn't included on the email you got, so I'm guessing it's a "no" for me. Would have loved to get it, but I'm happy with what I've got. Best of luck!!! 🙂

They are a wonderful site. Back when I interviewed there I was really impressed by their training options. They have two really interesting neuro guys and their training director is very nice. They really value research and they like to keep on their interns for post-doc. They work with a research organization down there (for post-docs), so if you want to stay in the Houston area, it is a great place to be. Be warned, the VA is huge! 😉 The Starbuck's / Coffee place is where they met us. I remember that because it was COOOOLD and I had a nice hot coffee to thaw out. I wasn't wild about the location of the VA, but supposedly there were some good housing options in and outside of the area.

Very glad to hear, as all of those things sound excellent, and further support my thought that the site would be both a great fit, and a great training environment. Thanks for the input.

great job!! the scheduling piece is hard. i've finalized all of my interviews and am making travel plans now. it's weird that i'm going to be away from home most of january. almost two full weeks in california alone! hope i can enjoy myself. good luck with the schedule!

Superior Courts of DC, Child Guidance Clinic (thought it looks like they have until the 17th)
Rappahannock Area Community Service Board

Most of those sites had the 15th as their date to inform about interviews.

haha, that's awesome...b/c I'm doing the same! will be there jan 14th through 20th for my san fran and palo alto va interviews. i've never been but i was given some recommendations of places to check out. do we overlap on days there?
 
Still have not heard from .Citrus Health Network. Did anyone else hear from them??? 😕

I have still not heard. Are you planning on emailing them tomorrow? My only fear is that if they are on the fence about me and I email, they will just reject me. I know not logical, but this whole process has made my thought process very illogical. Congrats on Central Texas!

I got an interview via email yesterday from rappahannock for Jan.25. I am also waiting to hear Tom the superior court site. Good lulck!
 
Has anyone gotten rejections from Houston VA or Memphis VA?

I saw earlier that some have gotten interviews, but haven't heard about rejections. I haven't heard from them either way, so I'm anticipating no interview...
 
Did anyone get a rejection (or offer?) from the child track at Mass General? Iknow they made offers a few weeks ago but I didn't get the expected rejection today! No idea what to think...

Just got an invite to the American Lake open house, but nothing from Jesse Brown. However, I haven't checked my email in 60 seconds, so you never know what showed up. 🙄

Anyone know when/how to contact sites regarding the status of my application? Thanks.
 
seems like a lot of ppl haven't heard from jesse brown va either (a classmate of mine is in the same situation). as for when to contact sites, do it after their date of notification. if their date is 12/15, and you should be able to do it on 12/15 or after. calling may get you a faster response!
 
it's frustrating that many of us have several we have not heard from! Makes me wonder if I should expect a response before midnight tonight or if the sites will simply wait until tomorrow or later..
 
I don't know how this happened, but apparently, I put the wrong numbers in for the clients I've worked with under race/ethnicity. I definitely put down 15 under American Indian/Alaska Native/Aboriginal Canadian instead of African-American/Black/African Origin. This can't be good. Any one know if there's anything I should do?🙁
 
Finally got my rejection from St. Luke's (at 10:10pm EST). It drives me crazy that sites wait until the very last possible moment to reject me, after I KNOW they have already made interview decisions. If they are running late, and are still inviting and rejecting people, then that's totally understandable. But really, waiting this long JUST to reject people is mean. Or, I'm bitter. Both? I blame the 14 (yes, FOURTEEN) rejection-string I'm on... I'm so grateful for my 4 interviews, very truthfully, but given this is my second year I was hoping for better😎
 
I know what you mean! I just want to get the rejections already so I can go ahead and cross them off of my list!!

i'm waiting on st. luke's, so i guess i won't be surprised if i get an email at midnight. i have two interviews (thus far...), so i am definitely feeling your frustration.
 
Citrus Health Network is the only site I haven't heard from. I wish they l notify one way or the other because I need to reschedule one of my other interviews and I want to have all my other dates set before I do it.
