Is anyone still waiting on uf health sciences center - health psych track? Ive seen invites go out on this forum but am holding on to hope!

I'm still waiting to hear from them too, but for their clinical child track. I got the sense that the invites that went out from them a few weeks ago were for their neuropsychology track.

Does anyone know about the process of being on hold at Emory, neuro track? I'm sure no one would decline an interview there, however, and so they won't even go into their hold list, but still.......

I'm still waiting on the University of Florida Health Science Center. I applied to the neuropsych track, and I know of others who are waiting on the health psych and child tracks. As far as I can tell from this thread, only one person has said they got an invite, and that was back on November 12th.

Has anyone else heard anything--any track, either way?

I'm still waiting to hear as well!! Let me know when/if you hear and I'll do the same.

If anyone is stressing about lack of interviews then working with people who know you and can guide you is your best bet. Embrace the absurdity and focus on positive energy for your interviews because you only need one site to love you. 👍

I am still waiting to hear from 4 sites, have 3 interviews, and 2 rejections. Two of my interviews are at "dream sites" where I think I we'd have a "mutually beneficial match." I'm trying to focus all my positive energy on those two interviews and hope that my hard work pays off!

I received an invite this morning, so there are definitely still offers going out. From what I can gather, many of the sites from which people are awaiting word haven't yet notified anyone; thus, it's very likely that there are still many offers "waiting in the wings."

It was a "Dear Internship Applicant" mass email with potential interviews on Fridays in January. However, I am still waiting to hear back about my specific date. Keepin' fingers crossed for you! 🙂

I received a rejection this morning from Ball State University CC. My girlfriend received an interview at the Topeka VA and a rejection from the Battle Creek VA.

I felt that way too, but then I saw that most sites don't alert applicants either way until today.

Two of my sites have not sent out any rejections or invites at all. The other two sites I'm waiting on have sent out rejections and offers, but for tracks I didn't apply to.

I'm hoping I at least get two more interviews!

If all the ones I'm waiting on come back as interview offers, I'll fly all of you down to South Beach and buy all of you front row Heat tickets! 😛

Couldn't DISagree more! Last year, I got an interview offer at the END of the day on the 15th from the place that ending up being my 1st choice and where I am currently interning. lol. And it looks like they are announcing at the last minute again this year. It is only because the review process here (I've learned) is really complicated as there are nearly 50 psychologists on staff and 6 post-docs helping to get through them. We also have a very busy program support assistant who is trying to keep her head above water. So... it ain't over til it is over.

I'm in the same boat with dupont. I haven't gotten a rejection, but I know invites went out awhile ago. Seriously, I find it really annoying that they just can't send a stupid rejection letter so I can officially take it off my list and feel like I can safely book flights, etc.

I completely agree. I'm 99% certain it will be a rejection, but I'd like the confirmation from them so that I can go ahead and book all of my travel. I understand holding out for a little while before sending out rejections, but it seems unnecessary to wait until the final day. I hope I hear soon... I'm excited to move out of the invite phase and start focusing on upcoming interviews

Hmmm, that is odd, I just interviewed at Baylor last week and there was no mention of changes to the neuropsych track (I was applying for a different track). I am sorry to hear that, especially since I think Baylor would have been a great fit for you given that you are also research oriented.

Yep, just got the same email. Very odd and unfortunate, as it seemed like a great site.

That was my last outstanding program, so now it's back to dissertationing and prepping for upcoming interviews.

Markro, we have very similar application lists, it seems. Minus Adler, I have the other three to wait for as well, plus Oregon State, IUPUI, UCLA, and U of South Florida. I can tell you that Purdue likely won't send out anything until tomorrow or Friday. I am doing my practicum at Purdue right now, and that is the word in the grapevine. Good luck to you! Hopefully we might meet at one of our interviews!

I may be the individual to whom you're referring, as I heard from UF neuro back in mid-November. To provide additional information, a classmate heard back from their medical/health psych track in (I believe) November as well, although I didn't ask the exact notification date.

I also received an invite from Florida, way back in mid-November. Health Psych track.
