Nothing specific, just that it was not on par with other programs in the state. There are a lot of very good programs in California.

It may be a good fit for you, however. If you are interested, definitely apply there and see for yourself.

Oh ok, I really want to return to Cali so I just planned on applying to all of them unless I was informed of any major red flags

I'd be wary of smaller programs though, not sure I'd want to go somewhere that hasn't made the transition to nightfloat

Maimonides is a NO go

I got Rush, but pretty sure b/c I did a rotation there, they are wary of out-of-staters unless you do some major face time
