It doesn't mean you aren't complete. Maybe they're busy (surprise, it's interview season). Maybe they don't really bother to update everyone's status even if they are complete. Maybe they saw something they liked in someone else's application and decided to run them through the process faster. Regardless of whether or not you are complete, it likely wouldn't change the fact that you may or may not get an interview months from now (or none at all). Again, everyone needs to relax--your time will come when it comes. There's often no way to know what the reasons are behind someone being "complete" before someone else--or for that matter, having anyone have anything happen in this cycle before someone else.

I'm relaxed.

I submitted my secondary on August 6th and I'm still not complete. Anyone else having this issue?

Sorry to hear, with those stats you'll definitely be matriculating next year. When were you complete at PSU?

I think I was complete in early August. Kinda bummed out because I was interested in what PSU had to offer. This was also humbling in a way because I have 6 invites so far and I thought I was sitting pretty until I opened up the letter .😳

got on-hold letter via USPS...complete on aug 16

OOS 32, 3.35 s, 3.5 c, really good ECs

🙁

+1 for the on hold letter. OOS stats 3.6/32. I thought it was a rejection before I opened the letter. I think its kind of weird that they mail a hold status, but I'm glad I'm still in the running here.

Was everyone who was rejected OOS? Any in state rejections yet?

If they send me the hold letter but I don't live at home, does that mean I'm still under review? 😀

In continue to review category as well. OOS 3.7 33O.

For those who have received letters, when did you receive complete emails?
Thanks!

Rejected via snail mail. Complete 8/16. Good luck to everyone else!

Sorry to hear about all the rejections...But to all those who got rejected or put on hold, would you mind telling us what your status says online?

Haha, still not even complete here. 😕

Me either. My letters weren't finished until early September though so maybe that's why.

Better to be incomplete than rejected I guess

Rejection letter 🙁🙁🙁 32/3.75 OOS
Similar Stats, Rejected as well. I was actually kind of surprised-I thought I was a good fit for their program and had ties to PA through family. Maybe it's because I'm a Buckeye Fan lol.
Only one interview so far, submitted most secondaries Aug. 16th-30th.

Wish I was sitting on 6 invites. That would feel awesome about now, having as many rejections as invites is not a great feeling. Especially when places where your stats are above the median start rejecting you.

Edit: OOS for those that wanted to know.

Sorry typicalindian, didn't recognize you without your old avatar.

I'm the 8:30 session.

You'll be done at 2.
But the last hour of the 8:30 session is a tour of the school/hospital, so it also depends on how long your tour guide decides to keep you.

Any sort of timeline from "Complete" to II or rejection? Or is PSU a silent rejection type.

Can any current students comment on housing in the area? I live about half an hour away in Lancaster, so I could probably live at home, but I want to see how the pricing around the Hershey area is.

Most people live in campus. Theres a complex (briarcest) directly across the street that a lot of people live in. A two bedroom is like 800-900 a month plus utilities. I live about 5 miles away with my boyfriend in luxury apartments and we pay 1130 a month for a nice two bedroom plus ~200 for utilities, Internet and Netflix. There are people who commute from Harrisburg etc and it's not bad. Since your in class most of the day, it's not like your going to have to go back and forth all day but I like being able to go home for lunch.

I've given up on this school. At this rate I'll likely be complete in November and be out of the running. 🙁

Oh, wow, that's three times my rent in Philly! LOL! I'll probably just stay home to save money then.

Thanks!

But if its a 2 bedroom, then usually 3 to 4 people can share it and then it's pretty cheap rite?
