Isn't 35 when dudes start getting the 'old man at the club' designation? 😀

Let a woman be uncommitted and/or unmarried and childless by the time she's 35 and you'll see she gets the craziest looks. It's funny to me how singlehood by men is viewed as a prize while some women see it as hell.

 Yeah you get old man at the club designation if you still chilling on the main floor at 35 but if you up in VIP that designation won't follow you across the velvet rope 😎 (I don't even go to the club lol)

And i do think it's unfair that women feel that pressure to be committed so young...the last girl I was involved with turned 25 and was flipping out and every time someone got engaged on FB she would go off on a rant...i'm like chillll

Well don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with marrying young or finding love at a young age I just think that you can't win or lose sometimes when you're a woman. It's not just societal pressures but also personal issues -- a lot of women want to have children by a certain age. One of the reasons, I think for a lot of women, If you haven't met the right person by 35 yet you get the side eye while if you're a guy it's more likely for someone to assume that you're just not ready to settle down.

I don't follow...what is "committed"? Good for you bruh, stick with it cause you don't wanna end up 24 or 25 and back out playing the single game...you won't wanna go back to this "commitment" thing...trust me 😉

I'm thinking commitment can come circa age ~35 😎

Haha! All I meant to say is that I am in a relationship. I was just responding to your comment about impressing the ladies.

I think that is an excellent idea! But I imagine it would be hard with high schoolers no? Maybe a "Freshman Philosophe's Club"
Idk how you go about doing those things, but it does sound like an excellent idea!

Thanks, here now and by the way they are talking, prob not going to happen 😳

I think it's what you're comfortable with. I know dudes that wanted to get married at 22 and did it. I would say that women tend to look very different at 25 and 35. If you wait till 35 you might have very different options.

True. This goes for men and women I guess. Hairlines and hair begins to disappear for men that are 26+ and up. But it's what's on the inside that counts of course

I got you. How are the women out California way tho? I feel the west coast is where I gotta go to find wifey

Exactly...Jay-z is over 40 and in the club actually almost every rapper you like is over 35 and they stay in the club!

Good thing I've tried the bald thing and my head is a good shape, no dents  and I'm sure you'll be fine if you've got a Janelle Monae vibe going (that's how I envision you in my mind due to your avatar lol)

Idunno bruh I'm picky

🙁 Hopefully today proves to be a better one.

What do you guys think about me starting a philosophy club at my local library? There's a lot of teens/young adults that frequent the library and I figured it'll be a good way to introduce abstract thinking without all the sciency stuff. Any ideas?

Yo I know you said it prob wasn't going to happen but I think this is a bomb idea...while philosophy as a main area of study may be a bit too abstract, I think working in different ideas from different philosophers really helps to shape the brain and help people think outside of the box

Exactly what I was planning on doing. Damn you libraries and your politics.

I think this MCAT may be the death of me...I am so miserable at simple harmonic motion, magnetism, and lenses 😡 :wtf:

What materials are you using? I've been slowly buying prep books for when I begin studying.

Kahn u and YouTube. You can find videos that may make the concepts sink in a little better.

Yo brother, you're a lifesaver, this kahn academy stuff is golden... thank you 👍

EK, TPR, old text books, e-MCAT, Gold Standard practice tests, free Kaplan practice tests haha literally everything I can get my hands on

Appreciate it guys. You would think my 2 engineering degrees would equal complete destruction of the PS section, but some of it is so abstract...and my GPA sucks so I gotta destroy this thing haha

Yeah I thought my strength would be in PS but it turns out that wasn't the case.

This guy has made everything surrounding waves COMPLETELY understandable and he keeps me totally engaged with his anger/ enthusiasm. If after watching this you aren't totally set on SHO.. I will be 1000% surprised. He has more videos on all that stuff, but im too lazy to post the rest lol

I watched so many khan academy videos that my friends thought I was in a relationship. "Sal khan said this." "Sal is so funny sometimes." "Sal has a wife. 🙁" Since I took the MCAT a few weeks ago, we kind of broke it off. Good stuff, tho! His explanation on thermodynamics was a lifesaver for me. 👍

Anybody else watch Game of Thrones? I have HBO for the first time ever in my apartment now so I can watch it for real

No I didn't I am buying them tomorrow though. I have been meaning to read them since last season. If you have showtime, you should also watch the Borgias, that's another favorite of mine.

Nope, I saw the episodes before I found out there was a book so I don't want to spoil the series by reading ahead. Overall just lazy!

 yeah man it's definitely a lot of work to read those books...solid 4500 pages worth to get through all 5 at this point...maybe more...but they are worth it IMO...this episode was dope tho

This episode was all right. The real life drama is soo good sometimes I forget there is magic involved. Ready to see those dragons light some s*** up though

Life has been busy and I haven't had a TV or cable in over 5 years.

That explains all of your acceptances to stellar schools 👍 I gotta ditch this TV
