I asked too and they said they arent receptive to updates unless u r invited for an interview. where did you send your update to? Are you sure they acknowledged the update?

Non-Accept means rejected right?

For those accepted and chose to hold their seat for the Fall 2013 class... does the GrAdmit website list your "acceptance confirmed" as "N/A"? I had called in earlier this week to confirm.

The fact that I submitted my tuition deposit is reflected on my status page. So I was just checking.

I did that too...

my interviewer did not like that answer. 🙄

My interviewer was really relaxed and had already cracked a couple jokes beforehand. Maybe yours didn't have the greatest sense of humor (or sense of wings)..

Anyone know which month UB sends out their financial package?

Interested in this as well. I looked at the previous year's thread some time ago and it looked like they received their aid package after May 15th, making it pretty difficult to make an informed decision on which acceptances to drop.

Congrats!! +Good luck 🙂 This gives me hope, as I was complete around the same time.

Thanks! Yea I definitely wouldn't stress about not hearing back from this school yet. Since they process the applications "randomly", you can't read too much into not hearing back yet. Before I was invited for the interview, I called SUNY Buffalo and was assured that the review process was random, and that an interview scheduled now or on their last interviewing day, would confer the same probability of acceptance to the interviewee.

Good luck!

I was accepted here back in November. In the acceptance letter, it said I was being considered for a scholarship. It didn't give any specifics on the scholarship or when I would find out if I was awarded it. On their website, I could only find info for the Robert Wood Johnson Fellowship. Today I got an email with instructions on how to apply for it.

So I'm wondering...did all accepted students get this email with info, or just people that meet the criteria for the scholarship?

Pretty much have the same story as you.. I fit the criteria for the scholarship so I feel that's probably it. I wonder if this was the scholarship the first email was referring to, or if this is in addition to scholarships from the school.

Thanks so much for the info & wishes!! 🙂 That's a great relief, amidst the stress of waiting & wondering if there's a timeline to any of this.

Congrats!! That's amazing. 🙂 I still can't believe that they get back to you within 24 hours of interviewing --- wish more schools followed the same policy. Do you mind sharing when you were complete + interviewed?

To those waiting stay positive and best of luck!

Congrats to those above who interviewed yesterday and were accepted. It was a fun group. As for myself, I was waitlisted. 🙁 Hoping for good news in February...

An no, I wasn't the guy who jokingly told his first interviewer that he would be bringing his nuts to the interview...

haha:laugh:

Interviewed yesterday, wait listed. Awesome that they let you know within 24 hours. Makes you wonder what the other schools are doing for 8 to 10 weeks that they say they need to decide.

Interviewed yesterday (or i guess technically two days ago)... accepted! This is my first acceptance and I'm ecstatic right now! It was a great group and I enjoyed meeting you all

For those who are coming to Buffalo for interview, please bring warm clothing! Right now, it's 7 degrees here. My interview is tomorrow. Can't wait to meet you people!

I'm guessing that many people got this email with the info. I fit the criteria and was emailed the application as well.

I probably should have posted this earlier but i'm currently a first year at buffalo so if anyone has any questions about the school, ask away and i'll try to answer them.

Good luck.
