congrats!!!
I was accepted to the Clinical PhD program at George Mason University on 2/9 through an email from my POI 🙂
How long are schools taking to make decisions and notify applicants of acceptances after interviews? Is it a matter of days, a week, multiple weeks?
It really just depends on the program and how they make their decisions. Some programs know the how many spots they have available for each lab, so each PI can get back to their applicants in a few days. Some programs need their faculty to meet as a group to decide, which could take a few weeks. You will probably get a sense during your interview how each school's process works, but it may not decrease your anxiety level lol.
So so thankful and excited to be able to post in this thread!
I just received an acceptance via a phone call from my mentor at University of Florida, Gainesville, fully funded as a teaching assistant.
Congratulations! 🙂 Is this Clinical Psych?
Nope, Counseling Psych! I just edited my post! Thanks 🙂
Was the acceptance for the Oklahoma State Counseling Psychology program for the post-bachelor's or post-master's track?
Notified of acceptance to University of Missouri - St. Louis I/O Psychology PhD program today by phone call from program director. She said they plan to admit three students and had about 60-65 applicants.
Has anyone heard from the University of Missouri Columbia PhD program in CLINICAL psychology? Any information would be greatly appreciated!!So, since one of our members just got accepted into a program (the first known one for the season), I think this thread is in order! 🙂
Good luck everybody. I hope we'll all get into a school we're excited about at the end of this interview season!
You can either post here or PM me. Please include the type of program, date the offer was extended, and who you heard from (POI, grad secretary, etc.) so that I can keep this first post as up to date as possible.

has anyone else received an acceptance from penn state ( adult track)?
Just got an email from my POI at LSU (clinical) that they're making me an offer! My first this year!
I'm pretty sure this has been discussed at some point, but...basically I have at least one, maybe two offers right now. I would gladly attend both, but neither are my top choice. I'm interviewing with my top choice tomorrow. Is there a tactful but effective way to say that to my POI? That I have other options but that if I get an offer here, I am 100% absolutely going to accept? Gah nerve wracking. A great predicament to be in, but still really tricky.
