As somebody who is not quite there in terms of applying for internship sites, I have a question for y'all:

do you guys (if applicable) submit transcripts from your master's program, for those who earned one prior to doctoral studies?? Is that possible? Or only from the current doctoral program??

The current AAPI requires official transcripts of all graduate work, even non-psychology related, so assuming this remains the same in future years, yes, you would submit a transcript from a master's program other than your doctoral program that would then be sent to all sites to which you apply. If you receive a master's along the way in your current doctoral program, just one transcript from your program is required.

I totally agree....no word from any sites, and others have heard....the waiting game is the hardest part for me!!!!

Also, congrats to all who have gotten interviews! It is exciting to read that people are hearing from sites!

At least some rejections and acceptances have been sent out for Philhaven Hospital.
 
Received an interview from Interfaith Hospital in Brooklyn yesterday.

I guess I know the answer to this question, but I'll ask anyway: for sites that offered other people interviews but have not sent a rejection letter to you- is it only a matter of time when I will get a rejection letter or is there still hope. It's so hard to tolerate uncertainty! 🙁

Is Queen's Children's still offering an internship? Or are they ending their internship as well?

This really varies by site. Some sites do rolling interview offers, some do it all at once, for sites that have multiple tracks they may offer interviews at different times for the tracks (ie: Track B may send out interview offers today, Track A might send out offers in 2 weeks). It also depends on their process for deciding who to interview. If it's like some schools, they could have each app. reviewed by X number of people and some reviewers are slower than others so some interview offers would come later. Nutshell: it depends 🙄

19 sites left!

PS - Same email as last year but with updated numbers (155 applications instead of 120). At least they were quick about it.

I am having the same problem. I'm guessing it's the servers, too.
 
After dragging my heels this last week and then also having a really busy week at school and work, I submitted my final application this afternoon. I don't feel relieved, more like terrified. Hoping that the last six months of work to narrow down my list of sites and work on all the pieces of the application will pay off, not to mention those years and years of graduate training 😉

Hope everyone gets some down time later this week with the holiday!! On a side note, I don't really understand how it's already almost December. I think I have been sitting at my computer for the last two months...

Me tooo! I also feel like I somewhat dissociated during the experience.. like, did that really happen? And what the heck did I write?! It is definitely weird not working on the applications every free chance I get... unfortunately, I am not finding it to be very relaxing as I wait... 😎

My application to Denver Health was for the Health Psychology with Inpatient and Psychiatry Rotations.

I applied to 11 sites in total, and though the internship seminar at the APA Conference indicated that 11-15 was the sweet spot, I'm feeling a bit antsy now. Ah well, what's done is done.
 
I received my first interview invitation from Dartmouth (child track) on Friday by email!

Thanks to everyone who has been posting - it is REALLY helpful to know about the interviews and rejections and very nice that people are supporting each other during this horrendous process. I got my first interview today - a personal email invite to interview at UCSF Public Services and Minority Cluster. 😱 Fingers crossed and good luck to everyone!!!!

My cousin applied to 7 and got the Boston VA and she attended a PsyD program that isn't very well-respected. Dont fret 🙂
 
Got an interview request via phone from White River Junction VA, in Vermont on Thursday November 17th.
 
Finally got an interview offer. It is from the Georgia Health Sciences University (formerly Medical College of Georgia) - Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center. I got a phone call this morning.

It was hard not hearing anything at all. Good luck to everyone who has not gotten an interview yet. And congrats to those who have.

Received a phone call interview invite from the Georgia Health Sciences University/Charlie Norwood VA. I applied to their Health Behavior Track: Trauma/PTSD subspecialty. The interview dates they offered were December 12, 16, and 19 and January 6, 9, 13, 20, and 23.

Received an interview invite from USP Hazelton/FCI Morgantown (email, this morning). The interview dates are set up for January 5, and January 17-20th.
 
I know someone already mentioned this, but I just received an invite from MUSC (11/21 at 10:13am), so there is still hope for those of you who applied there. As previously indicated, it was a personalized email....
