I was just thinking about how I haven't heard from some of the sites that people have gotten interviews from and started to worry. Then, I realized that the deadlines for at least one site mentioned here isn't for another week. Makes me glad that I applied early, even if I haven't heard from them yet. 😛

I received a rejection just a few minutes ago from Nationwide Children's Hospital - Pediatric track. It was a mass email with all the other rejectees names/email addresses included... 👎

I received the same rejection e-mail from Nationwide! It seemed odd that they included all of the e-mail addresses.

That's terrible. Truly ridiculous that they wouldn't have BCC'd those.

+1 on the awful quotient, yet it happens with multiple programs every year. 👎 Someone needs to instruct these sites on proper email etiquette prior to the start of the internship process each year. 🙄

That is sooo unprofessional! It must have been an oversight, but I hope someone brings it to their attention.

Apparently (at least for that track) they don't. 😛 I'd like to think that my application was at least read through...

Ben Taub adult track at Baylor just got cut....2 days after application deadline. What a waste of money. At least decide before the deadline is past. Ugh!

I just spoke with tech support--they said they will not give a credit because the entire site is still available...

Texas Children's Hospital emailed a notice to say that they received application materials.

To make my contribution (since I don't see a post about it yet)...I just got an interview at Geisinger Medical Center (they called to offer this am). This was for the adult (BMED) track. Hope this helps someone!

Thanks for your response! I wonder if VAs are typically later than other sites? I know my friends who got word from VAs last year had a lot close to December 15th! I definitely hope we both get some (or a lot...) 😉.

There was a recent staff change at Ben Taub that necessitated that move. I understand how you feel, but it was just very recently decided, for what it is worth.

I have only heard of one person in my program having an interview, and only one of them! So I think its normal right now... at least thats what I am telling myself! 😀

Yeah - I went through the match last year, as well. I only heard from one site before Thanksgiving - same for the rest of my cohort. All the rest notified in December, so don't worry! You'll start hearing in a couple weeks.
