Were you both requesters of early review/notification? Also - where you health/PC focused?

I did not request early review; I'm neuro-focused. I don't live in Chicago, though, so maybe they are inviting out of town applicants first?

For anyone who got an invite to WPIC - are you adult or child or was it clear that it was for both? I realize this may tell me nothing since I have not been invited or rejected but as the other poster said, I'm wondering how much I should hope....

Nope. I didn't request early review.

Also, I do live in the Chicago area and just applied to the general track.

I must have missed the announcement of a Mt. Washington invite. Who got that? Any word on interview dates?

Has anyone received (or heard of anyone who has received) an interview at Mt. Washington? I saw it on the list, but didn't see anyone post about it.

I believe it must have been Quynh2007 who posted the interview. She's running the list and applied to child sites, so I'm guessing she just added it instead of doing a separate post (I could be wrong though!) I also received an invite (personalized with my name) and the dates listed were January 3, 10, and 17.

Make sure you check all your mail folders and voice-mails for any number you listed. I put myself through hell today because I didn't check my home answering machine, and I had a message from a TD waiting for me. NO ONE CALLS ON THAT LINE, except apparently TD's!😛

2. UMDNJ Piscataway-Clinica Latina Adult track- phone call and follow up email. Dec 12

i got rejected from pacific clinics too, which is weird because when i applied last year they gave me an interview. this year i obviously have more hours and more reports but they still rejected me 🙁

That is so frustrating, I'm so sorry. There's obviously so much wrong with this process, I really hate it.



PS - for those who haven't applied before and don't have any interviews yet, last year I got 3 between 12/6 and 12/9, so there really still is hope (this is also what I'm telling myself)

I just got an invite to UCLA. They are having two open house interviews on Jan 13 and 20. 🙂

I just received an e-mail rejection from Arkansas Division of Behavioral Health Services addressed to "Dear internship applicant." It also says "However, if interview dates become available after the first of the year, we will continue to consider your application for the internship program unless notified you are no longer interested in being considered. You do not need to notify us for continued consideration since we are continuing to hold all applicant files."

Blah! So far I have received 1 interview and 1 rejection (although I am positive I will also get a rejection from Bellevue). I am hoping for some more good news soon! Most of my sites had late deadlines, so I have a feeling I will be waiting a while.

Just curious, has anyone heard from Ethan Allen/Lincoln Hills School in Irma, WI or from UMDNJ Piscataway (adolescent forensic track)?

I am child-focused but it was not clear from the email whether they were inviting all at once or a particular group (e.g., based on child vs adult). Hope this helps.

An interview at Pacific Clinics (Jan 3rd, 4th, & 5th) & a rejection from the SW Consortium. . .

This process sure is a roller-coaster!

I got the same email earlier today. I heard from UMDNJ last Wednesday. They have 3 dates: 12/12, and two in January, I think the 6th and 12th or so. But they were clear they wanted me to go to the 12/12. I haven't heard from Ethan Allen, but it's been my #1 for 5 years 🙁

Do you mean St. Louis VAMC? I haven't heard from them either.

No, it's just called the St. Louis Psychology Internship Consortium. It is run through the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

I have forensic interests, but I am coming from a child clinical program. I mainly want to work with juvenile offenders, but there aren't many sites that are juvenile-justice oriented.

I didn't apply to Wisconsin Department of Corrections or Mendota, but I considered them both. I honestly cannot remember why I crossed them off my list. I applied to the Superior Court of D.C. Child Guidance Clinic and several general child/adolescent sites. I fear that the D.C. site is a long-shot, because I do not have their minimum assessment hours (500!!!).

Just got an invitation to interview at Baylor College of Medicine Pediatric Track (Department of Psychiatry...haven't heard from the internship at Texas Children's Hospital yet!).

Looks like we applied to some of the same places (though I'm adult focus)! I am also *anxiously* waiting on the St. Louis Consortium (I might have done some stalking on last year's forum and saw they sent out invites on 11/30 last year... I really need to stop doing this or my anxiety is going to send me over the edge...). Also waiting on Mendota, Fulton State Hospital, Center for Behavioral Medicine in Kansas City, UNC Butner track, and a host of BOP sites...

Quynh2007 has done a wonderful job of keeping the list updated. The last post they put up said that they are about 12 hours ahead of EST and therefore if the list hasn't been updated recently, Quynh is probably sleeping : ) I'm sure he/she will get to it soon!

Congrats!!! 👍 Some sites are really strange about notification times. Last year I got a rejection from a site on a Sunday night! I had thought weekends were 'safe' as well but I guess any day/any time is really fair game for sites! 🙄
