I was offered January 5th initially but had a conflict and was able to schedule on the 12th. Someone on the forum mentioned being offered Jan 23rd. Good luck with scheduling 🙂I was wondering if anyone knew the different interview dates that were offered for Children's Memorial Hospital (in Chicago). I was only offered one date (Thursday, Jan 12), but I may need to reschedule. I'm hoping they have other options.
Just received a phone call to attend the Open House at the University of Washington School Of Medicine - Child Track.
Congratulations psychgirl11! Has anyone received a rejection from this site (UW SOM - SCH)?
12/06 - Northeastern Oklahoma Psychology Internship Program - personalized email invitation (Tulsa Center for Child Psychology rotation)

Bummer! Hang in there, hoping for better news soon 🙂Palo Alto VA rejection via mass email.
It's been a rough day... rough week... could use some good news soon.
Although it was generic, one of the nicest generic rejection letters I have received![]()
Received an interview at Queens Children's Psychiatric Center. Email addressed to "Doctoral Student" They offer open house days at 10:00 to 12:00 on Monday, January 23, 2002 and 10:00 to 12:00 on Tuesday, January 24th, 2012. Sounds like the interview may get scheduled for a different day though.

6:39pm Eastern timeSorry about the rejection, was it a mass email then? When did you receive it? Thanks.
Whoa... within 5 minutes of my SFVA rejection, I get an invite to interview at Palo Alto VA! crazy times![]()
sorry, and yes, mass emailSorry about the rejection, was it a mass email then? When did you receive it? Thanks.
Thanks! Good luck to you, too! I am hoping for no more news tonight... I don't think my heart can take itAlthough I am sad for myself, I am genuinely excited for you!! What a roller coaster 🙂
sorry, and yes, mass email
Just got a mass e-mail invite to the Richard L. Roudebush VAMC in Indianapolis. In-person interview dates are 1/6 and 1/13 with the option for a phone interview.
Has anyone received an offer from Boston Childrens Hospital? If so, was it a phone or email invite? And did anyone contact them via email this week, as they requested, and receive a response about an interview? My colleague and I contacted them this week and haven't heard back either way. Thanks for your info!
The person who called me said that she was specifically the director for the Child track, but she didn't say anything about the other tracks. I'm not sure of the exact hours. I think that the interview will start early in the morning, and the end of the day will probably depend on how many people you ask to interview with and what time they're able to schedule your meeting with them. It will probably be an all day thing though if you want to meet with faculty.
Congrats, great news! Hope you rock that interview! 👍.Just got a mass email invitation for an interview at Maimonides Medical Center, Brooklyn NY. An attached letter addressed to "dear applicant".
10 more sites to go...
Good luck everyone.

Just a thought but perhaps there should be two internship threads -- one just for updates on interviews/rejections and another just for sounding off/support...
I agree with Milk Milk Milk...
Congratulations!! How exciting!!
Would you mind sharing what the interview dates were for the Hampton VA? I got an email telling me I was waitlisted for an interview there today.
Does anyone with prior experience or knowledge know if it is even worth mentally holding onto a site that "waitlists" you for an interview? What are the chances that a site with only 20-25 interview slots to begin with will even have a cancellation or open more slots? I know there was some conversation about this in the last week. Just honestly not sure how to interpret this. Thanks.
I really appreciate the support from everyone!!! (Cervello, Duck Duck Goose, Member888, marvelgrrl, Therapist4Chnge, pinkasaurus, and also some of the PMs that I received) Cervello and Therapist4Chnge, I remember seeing you guys on here last year. It means a lot to know that there are others going through their own difficulties with this process and that we can all be supportive of each other. I try to offer words of comfort and congratulations whenever I can. It really is uplifting and helpful to know others are responsive to the unique situations of each individual here. Again, I really appreciate everything, and I am also thankful for everyone else who posts information on here, sharing where they did or didn't get interviews, what things people are worrying about, helpful information about interviews or getting to interviews, etc! 😍
I was afraid that some of you would react this way, and sorry to annoy/bore you with things you do not care to read about on this forum. I remember that this was a supportive place for many members last year when I was first applying, and have also seen some supportive things that people have said to each other on here so far this year. Last year I got the majority of my support from my cohort at school as we were all going through this together, but now that the majority of them have gone off to internship and even for those of us who did not, we are not at school anymore and don't see each other so... I took a chance and turned to this group for support and I was very grateful to the responses that I got.

Just to clarify my earlier comment. I can't speak for others but personally I like (and appreciate!) the support felt on the forum, but there have recently been some very negative, disparaging comments/complaints about "the system" that I think may be better expressed elsewhere. In some cases these comments have been productive, but in my opinion, not in other cases. We are all in this system, so let's make the best of it. If it's all the system's fault and there's nothing we can do, then why should we be working so hard? To me, these criticisms are counterproductive. I'd much prefer to see this forum be an encouraging environment for others to share concerns, support, interview tips, and interview notifications in a positive manner.
Yeah, I agree, I've had several issues this past 6 weeks already, but I'm glad there's a lot of support here for each other.
Even taking on the task of listing the sites, I have to read each post here, and I don't mind reading the tangential questions/comments/etc (i.e. Interview suits!) because they are all relevant.
If others preferred though so they don't have to scour through posts, I will be happy to create a thread with JUST invites/rejections.
